Difficult to See Calc Field Info
I qualified for the Age Exemption for the first time ever and I found that the amount was pro-rated for my income. I never did find where in TurboTax this information was calculated and just accepted that it was ok.

great program..but
It truly is a great tax program which I have used for 15 years, but it should clearly identify in the top corner of every page the file name that you are working on. It does so in the forms area but not for instance in easy step.

Consistantly Good
I've used Turbo Tax for years, and always found it very easy to understand, and use. I appreciate the pre-filing checklist too. It helps me catch a few unmarked, or unchecked items I may have missed while entering the data into my forms.

easy tax filling

Easy to use
This software was not complicated to use. There are many available links as long you are filling your information to teach you about the deduction or others benefits. I learned a lot how to fill my taxes and what deductions I can profit.

Always Reliable!
I've relied on Turbo Tax ever since it came into the market, and it has never let me down.
I actually look forward to doing mine and my family's taxes each year.

Helped me a lot, fair price
My tax situation is a bit out of the standard: had income in the USA as a US non resident alien, moved in with my girlfriend, contributed with a couple of small donations. I started with the free version of Studio Tax, which is not bad at all but introduced the wrong form for the foreign income, then I switched to TurboTax free version just to make sure they had fixed the annoying windows bug of last year and that it would handle all my situations properly. Once confirmed that, I decided to buy the standard version because the free one, although user friendly in general, didn't allow me to do proper reviews.
Last week I used TurboTax US for my 2018 file and totally hated it! Made me make a mistake and i had to file manually afterwards. The Canadian version is much better and no errors. It will never be simple with taxes but I got a very good guide and after 3 days struggling with software I just filed!!

Fast and easy
Prepared both my wife and my returns with multiple T4s and T4A(OAS) T4P and was guided trough without a hitch. The software made the process easy and made sure we didn't skip anything that could save us money. I will be using TurboTax again next year.

watch out for t5008
watch out for autofill of t5008 if you have more than a few sales of stock or ETF. you'll end up doing each transaction instead of manually summarizing each set of them.

Simplifies Tax Time
Turbotax Standard greatly simplifies the work needed to file your taxes. The Standard edition is actually good enough to do minor investments as well, so you don't really need to upgrade to the more expensive version. Best feature is its carry forward feature which carries any used contributions, losses, etc. over from previous years.
