easy to use
I've used TurboTax sine the days it was called QuickTax. I like the straight-forward setup which allows me to use the forms method.
My one wish is for a MAC version as my Mac is my primary computer.

Smart choice
I have used Turbo tax for over 10 years and it just gets easier to use every year. I really like the download feature from CRA into my tax form.

Turbo Tax review
Program is very good and the connection to CRA was flawless for me. I used both the auto fill and the manual input methods for returns and there were no issues.
I have used it for a very long time and I was a CA but not practicing as an accountant so have decent understanding of tax.
I would not hesitate to use the program and the review process is decent and often addresses issues that people have not considered.
The ability to get instant confirmation of filing and a copy of the NOA is a very nice addition.
The only suggestion I have is it would be good to be able to add "notes" and memos to the file so you can track information or provide yourself with an explanation of something unusual you may have done in the return or add a reminder to do something the next year.

Continued improvement
I have used the product for many years and both the ease of use and access to additional tax information shows continual improvement.
The program may not always be able provide a clear answer to unusual/unique tax situations but generally provides enough information to point you in the correct direction for a solution.

Use This Every Year
This program streamlines the process of filing income taxes each year. I use the interview format, and the program works through every item systematically so nothing is left out. I had a couple of questions that I needed to go into the government website to answer, so there could be a little more information in the help section.

Too much!
I found the process too lengthy with too many "interview" steps. Put a warning about how long and how drawn out the step-by-step method now is to clarify whether to follow this step or simply go to the forms and work directly on those.

Don't trust Avg/Marginal Rates
Turbotax is great. However, over the last couple of years they broke the calculation of the Marginal Tax Rate and Average Tax Rate that is reported on the tax summary. Pretty basic stuff but they cannot get it right. The Marginal Rate appears to not include the provincial tax... it looks like they are only including 10% of it. (that's my guess anyways). The average rate is closer to reality and may be correct for you, but for people that do income splitting the income that is split ends up being double-counted (included on both tax payers) and therefore the average tax paid is lower than what it really is if you took the combined tax paid and divided by the REAL combined income. Otherwise the program is pretty good.

Features are exactly what I wanted.
We continue to be happy with TurboTax for filing our income tax. It gets a little easier each time. Still need a little clarification around property taxes when we only pay rent and where to submit costs related to assisted living during a respite care or convalescent care.
