Great as always
I have been using TurboTax for many years now. It is very straightforward to use and is simply the best. I did once try a competitive product and it was a nightmare - never again - TurboTax is my 'GoTo' tax package!

Good product but could be improved
In general, I find that TurboTax is an excellent product. I like the on screen summary that keeps me posted regarding amounts due or refunds. I also really like the detailed tax summary. There are a few things that could stand to be improved. These are:
1) The font size needs to be reduced to enter tax installments on line 476. This problem has existed for years. PLEASE fix it.
2) When the return is printed or sent to pdf, it does not include schedules that are useful such as donations, medical, investments, etc. but it prints a ton of paper relating to unused things such as TOSI. Why? The missing schedules used to print with the return.
3) The print buttons in netfile for printing are not clear. One says "Print your" and takes the user to the screen to print the return but does not go back to allow access to the other print button which prints the confirmation information. Not good.
4) We have many T5008 entries but only the first 15 or so print on the schedule. The rest are not visible anywhere except for a total. This info is only visible on the screen and it makes the process of doubel checking very painful.

15 Years In A Row
I have used Turbo Tax, consecutively, since 2004 and found it to be a great program. It makes doing your taxes simple and even fun to watch the impact of entries on your refund. This year's improvements are stellar.

I have used Turbo Tax for years and rely on it to ensure I don't miss any deductions and to include the correct amounts in the appropriate forms. The pension and RRSP analysers are invaluable.
My one complaint is that if you print a copy for your records, the program no longer closes unused forms but prints the COMPLETE package - all 42 pages! A complete waste of paper.

Good Product
May have found a problem. As a farmer, in 2017 my brother traded in a motor vehicle for $22,000 and replaced it with a vehicle at the maximum of $33,900. He had $2,183 left on the old vehicle and got a CCA of $327. The problem is there was no CCA transferred to 2018. I calculated the CCA and entered it on the 2018 tax.

Tax Return Made Easy
Tax return worked well but just one issue. During netfile gives option 'set up' or 'not ready at this time' for My Account at CRA and for direct deposit. should also have option 3 for those that have these already set up!!

With auto download turbo tax is extremely easy.
Some mention could be made of the need to register a power of attorney form when filing a joint return. Access to cra autofill my be difficult.

Need Ability to Split Charitable Giving
I have used TurboTax for many, many years and am pleased with it. However, the option to split charitable giving between spouses in the same manner as investment income can be split should be added. While normally charitable giving should be designated to only 1 spouse due to the initial rates, once the federal tax of Spouse # 1 is reduced to zero, it is beneficial to designate any remaining charitable giving to Spouse # 2. The only way to do that now is to file the returns individually which defeats many of the advantages of TurboTax. TurboTax should add an optimizer for this aspect of charitable giving as they have for Pension Splitting.
