Success again and again
The larger text very helpful. (cataracts not treated yet) I found toggling between "easy forms" and the form view very helpful. Especially when comparing with my spouse. I love the refund balance showing (in big characters) up at the top left. You can see the immediate bottom line effect of freshly entered data. Great Program. I have used it since the CanTax days at startup. Much improved.

I utilized TurboTax for a number of years. I noticed changes in the past two years which were favorable. I used the easy step method and transferred data from the previous year's taxes and took my time and used the links for additional information as I progressed through completing my spouse and my returns. I received confirmation from CRA for our returns and am pleased with the results.

2018 Review
For what ever reason, I found this year's version to be a bit more confusing than last years. The look and feel was similar but I had missed some things that luckily I found in my review. (I had even missed one of the items in my 2017 return.)
When I went to compare my 2018 return to my 2017 return, the government had changed some forms so it was harder to find things. Maybe not so much a problem with the product but it still took time.
Or....Maybe I am just getting older.

Great Timesaver
It helps to do a simple return first and go through the entire Easy Step procedure in order to become aware of the myriad of questions that will be asked. Having said that, I would be unable to do my and my wife's returns without Turbo Tax.

Use it every year
I have used the Intuit tax software for decades. The only problems I have ever encountered were, once when a company was late submitting my information slips and any times that I made typing errors.
Obviously, Turbotax has not yet figured out how to prevent stupidity from us or companies with which we deal.

Quick returns
I like the simplicity and clarity TurboTax brings to the completion of returns. I prefer the CD and download option to the online because I am able to switch to form view - a major asset when checking for one's own data entry errors.

Income Tax made Easy

Have used "turbotax" for several years and find it easier to use every year. My only difficulty was when I went to Forms to check something and had difficulty getting back to my place in the preparation. Also I had difficulty in downloading my T4s, etc. from CRA

Almost Idiot Proof
