The pre-fill features are great.
Medical deductions are easy to enter, but it can be a bit of a donkey when the maximum benefit comes from the larger income using the deduction.

I have used Turbotax since its inception and QuickTax for years before that.

Filing taxes in minutes
With its ability to pull in my tax information from CRA and its helpful tips given in context (e.g., telling me how much medical expenses I must have before I can deduct them), I pretty much walked through filing taxes.

Time saver
This was so fast by importing old returns and having direct connections to my T4 slips. I remember the days of filing this out by hand. It was horrifying. This took no time at all.

Awesome software!

Really Easy To Use

User Friendly
Very good tax return software program. Only some slight confusion when entering investment income from T5 slips....the program asks to enter it again on a schedule which then doubles the dollar amount. It could be my own mental mistake.....

Easy to Use
I use Turbo Tax Standard. Yes, I have investments, such as Mutual funds, ETFs, etc, but it works just fine. You don't need to buy the premium version.
Suggestion to Turbo Tax - on Capital Gains.
The only thing I wish that TurboTax would allow, is for me to put in my capital gains information once, and say that it should be split 50%/50%, or 60%/40%, or whatever it should be. Right now, i have to enter all of my capital gains items (sale of ETF's for example) separately from all of my wife's. it's double-entry, and therefore subject to typos.
