Awesome and easy

Mostly Straight Forward
This is for the most part a very straight forward and useful program. I have been utilizing it now for many years, going back to Quick Tax days. It is easy, the Easy Step process is very easy to follow and saves you much time and effort. I complete both my own and my wife's returns together and since we pension income split to save money and TurboTax facilitates that along with an Optimizer for that specific purpose that quickly arrives at the optimal choice. TurboTax also has an optimizer for Charitable Donations (which spouse should claim them) as well as some other options. NETFILE is a breeze! Once you have NETFILEd, TurboTax has added a feature that allows you to download into your TurboTax return(s) milieu your CRA Notice of Assessment, IF you already have a MyAccount with CRA. My only quibble with TurboTax occurs when I try printing stuff from it once I have finished a return and NETFILEd it. I like that I can choose by my or my wife's name and a choice of a return or specific form(s) from a checklist they provide to me based upon which ones I used that year BUT I find that often when I choose a number of them to print, I end up wasting a lot of ink on pages that are not necessary (at least in my view) - it would be great to have some indication in the list how many pages there are for each choice that you select so you can tell if you really want that form printed or can live with it electronically saved within your return. I do appreciate that I "could" go and enter each form one-by-one through a separate (but inconvenient, at that moment) process to check each of them out - but I am all about the convenience that TurboTax is known for and this one aspect is not very convenient. However, the good news is ... I'll see you next year and for anyone who hasn't considered TurboTax before, you definitely should! Thanks for the great product, TurboTax! Cheers.

Good product
Very good product. Easy to use and has various optimizers. Easy to navigate between different sections.
One small item that might be corrected: The charitable optimizer shows the carryforward as the current year and the 5 previous years but the first of the 5 previous years should not be included in the carryforward since it cannot be carried forward to the following year.

Improvements to Turbotax
Thank you so much for listening to your customers and having an icon so that we can change the text size when preparing our tax returns. The font text for previous software was very small and hard to read which, I am sure, caused errors when inputting numbers, etc.

so easy!
Doing my taxes this year was simple and quick. I'm a retiree so there's not a lot of complicated issues to consider. Downloaded TurboTax Standard, transferred my info from Revenue Canada then followed the instructions in TurboTax. In less than an hour I'm ready to file.

Time Saver
This is the first time I have used Turbo Tax. I highly recommend this program for ease of service and how quickly I was able to file this year. I easily covered the cost of the program with extra deductions. I regret waiting so long to purchase Turbo Tax.

I wish the RRSP slider made those funds appear...
No amount of fandangling will make extra money appear out of nowhere. TurboTax is like lipstick on a pig, making the inevitable pain hurt a little less as you barrel towards the inevitable realization that you need to pay more taxes.
