Always great to use
I've been using TurboTax since before it was TurboTax (Quicktax I think it was named?) I've always had great results. My tax situation is not all that complicated, but the software always does a great job of directing me to everything I should be claiming based on the questions it asks in the EasyStep format.

good program
It's a good program once you've used it. I use the form method as I am familiar with all the forms. Haven't try easy step but perhaps I should , just to see if it works as well as the form method.

20+ Year user, no complaints
Ive been a Quicktax/Turbotax user for over 20 years and have never had cause for complaint. It makes taxes a breeze.. while ours are admittedly fairly simple, I just flew through filing the wifes and mine in 30-45 minutes total.

Its good software
Really, it doesn't get much easier.
As long as you have some basic computer skills it should be a breeze.
My one observation would be it does not seem to get any better or worse over the years. Looks and feels the same, this is also good for some.

Helpful Product
I care for my Mother who has dementia in my home. Last year turbo tax suggested I apply to transfer my mothers disability tax credit into my name. Turns out I can, and I did. My tax refund has increased which is fabulous because it covers the ever increasing health care cost that senior face.

almost all good
love using this program particularly the RRSP wizard which helps me decide the amount to contribute.
Only negative I have is that if you follow recommendations/tips (such as carrying forward some RRSP contribution to future year) it is very difficult to "undo". I ended up going to the forms version, finding the proper form and then reversing the carry forward amount back to $0. It would be nice if there was the ability to see the effect of the change and then either proceed or "undo"

great program
was taught how to use turbo tax by an ex girlfriends father a couple years ago and I have not looked back! recommend it to everyone I know! paying a couple bucks for standard is well worth the price. it is a much more simplified process then the free basic i tried last year. I was finished and filed today in no time and saved so much money over paying the green company a percentage, you know the place.

This question needs improving...
There is the question on the program: "Did you work during 2018?" However, among the listed items, there is no "yes, i'm self-employed". So, Am I or Am I Not supposed to click on that button, since last on the question of "Are you self-employed?" comes up. The first question makes it sound like you didn't work if you don't check that off........
