Great Program
I use the Easy Step program and I complete both our (spouse) returns together. The wizards are very helpful in determining who should claim expenses and splits. I watch the refunds amounts, and the splits are very accurate for the provising the highest return. I pay attention to the warnings and utilize them when needed! (Example when the total refund drops, I adjust and if there is no advantage, I disregard the warning)

Long time user
I have been using Turbo Tax since its onset after using such as CanTax initially. It greatly cuts down on calculations, etc. I do find that I miss a book I used to buy as an annual tax reference as found it more useful than Help info on Turbo Tax

Ease of use
I like that you can do a draft and go back and finalize. Options are provided. You can see the actual sheets. It is intuitive which I like.

Digital Sub credit

Have been using TurboTax for over a decade

Easy to use

Easy to use, covers all options
Have been using turbotax for years. Easy to use. Interface with CRA a bit confusing and registering with them at various options is also confusing. I just rammed it through Netfile. Going to get more confusing when Notice of Assessment is built in.

Improvement
Need to better instructions or methods to connect to CRA for auto-fill. Auto-fill is a great feature if it is working. This time, I tried multiples times and failed ; need to enter manually.

Tax Return Made Easy
I have been using Turbo Tax for many years. I am not an accountant but I have never had issues with the CRA and my family's taxes as Turbo Tax takes the trouble out of preparing my taxes. Very easy to use and user friendly. Would not trade it for any other product. Keep up the good work!

Excellent product - but had an install problem
Have used Intuit since 2010. Makes life safe and easy at tax time.
This year I had an install problem with my computer - so I used my wife's system. I placed a support call but the issue remains unsolved. I will call back when I have more time.

also use desktop version
do not purchase TurboTax online. use the TurboTax desktop version. you will keep all your data and files on your PC and with CRA. no reliance on the "TurboTax cloud"
TurboTax is easy to use as it guides you through every step. if you are basic like have one or two legal employers and have basic donations or RRSP's, TurboTax does it perfectly and you do not need their $50 online consultant extra's. i am sure they are good, but that is $50 of your money given away and not well spent.. i recommend using TurboTax. i buy the basic family package from Costco for about $40
