Does the job!
This Standard product was all I needed as it did include the necessary forms for rental, professional and investment income. Although the product comparisons suggested that only Premier and up does rental and investment incomes, that was not the case. The Standard did what I needed and I'm glad to have used it.

Simple and Fast!
Easy to install, updates and go. Very straight forward, no issues, lots of help buttons, gives you all the filing options and payment options and detailed descriptions on using them.

Longtime user
Have been using Turbotax and Quicktax for 20 years. One of the most easy to use programs for any type of application. Found a bug once back in the 90's. Called to report the error. When I asked how I could be assured that the error would be fixed, I was assured "Trust me, I'm the President" by the person at the other end of the line. Sure enough, the bug got fixed, and I have been a satisfied user ever since (and no more bugs).

Fantastic as Always
However I ran into an issue this year, where Turbotax cannot accept last names longer than 20 characters. It generated a nondescript error, that required further research on the web, before I could determine what was going wrong. Turbotax let me use the long name all the way to the netfile stage and then it crashed. Seems like a simple fix to have as many characters as required.
Turbotax has also added that annoying autofill feature that keeps popping up every time you launch the program. Add a disable button.

You have no idea...
The agony I used to go through every year, making out the return. Mine is very simple, yet paper and pencil took a whole day of grief and frustration. Now, I answer a bunch of questions, fill in the box numbers, and I'm done in 20 minutes... Praise be!

Set up to flow very naturally, so nothing that came up was a surprise.
It actually was enjoyable to do, instead of dreading every moment.

Turbo tax 2017
Again the folks at Turbotax have come up with a great product! Software was easy to load and use. I filed 2 joint tax forms in about 3 hours including reviewing all the receipts and other slips. Information carry forward feature is most helpful. Netfile worked flawlessly. Good experience.... if you can have a good experience filing taxes!

Makes the unpleasant a little better
Hate tax time but this program eases the frustration. I feel a little more confident too knowing there is support should I need it.

Sweet like honey
I have been using Turbotax for over ten years, and found it my best option each time. I even help others to file their own taxes since they allow multiple returns using the same licence. The "easy step" option gave more than one of the first time filers a sense that tax time is not to be dreaded.

I have been using TurboTax since it first appeared and this is the best version yet. The only moment of confusion has been the Netfile part. The reason I said no to the question of whether I would recommend it or not is that I never recommend anything unless asked. If I was asked I would say it worked very well for me.
