Best tax software out there.
I have used Turbo Tax and it's predecessors going back to the original Wintax for many years. I still feel this software is the best. Never had a problem filling in returns or Netfiling.

Can't file additional returns using online filing
I bought Turbo Tax to prepare returns for myself and my kids. I prepared mine (with no problems) and filed it directly with CRA. I then went to try to prepare a new return for one of my kids and I couldn't because I had filed my return directly with CRA. The product states that you can prepare up to 8 returns. I was only able to do mine. Nowhere did it say up front that if I file directly with CRA that I wouldn't be able to prepare anymore tax returns. Was not what I expected.

Excellent Software
I am a mathematician for more than 50 years, but I still use TurboTax every year to prepare my taxes (for at least 15 years past). TurboTax asks you for the types of income and expenses you had, and leads you by the hand through every form you need to complete. You can almost do your taxes in your sleep! It's hard to go wrong.

Money's worth and more
I am completely happy with the software. If I may make a slight and perhaps insignificant suggestion, I would like to see that it would give warning or stop it altogether if the user claims net capital loss of prior years for an amount that exceeds this year's capital gain.

Good product
Doing ones income tax always annoying, but Turbotax makes it as easy as possible. Because we are retired, we have various revenues and expenses that are much more complicated than just employment income.
Turbotax could be improved in some details, but it does the job well.

CRA
I use TurboTax every year to do my relatively easy tax return. It is very easy to use. The difficulty is with CRA access as even though there is easy link to CRA, CRA's access options are limited.

I wanted to confirm a deduction for line 301 but was unable to locate the Federal Worksheet T1-2017. I did this through the CRA website and the sum matched the calculated value. Would like to be able to pull up the worksheet in TuroTax.

Wish I had used it before!
This is awesome - it took me 3 weeks to complete my taxes, and that's a good thing!
I mean, I took this at my leisure, working on it just a few minutes a day here, a day there, following the questionnaire form (which is so simple and easy to follow!) and stopping whenever I needed to get more info.
If I had sit down with all my data ready and working straight, I probably would have done this in under 1 hour, but that's the beauty of it - you determine how fast you want to do it.
Last year was a nightmare, this year was a dream. Thank you, TurboTax!

Excellent help with taxes whether by just using forms section & Tslips. Easy step questions are long but thorough for users that are not bookkeeper-types. Advertising at end is annoying because it asks the same things after every return you do.

capital gains
With 45 capital gains transactions I would like to be able to list schedule amount totals rather than provide line by line entries matching the 5008 form. It would be easier if line items were grouped by account code or type.
