makes tax filing easy
for over ten years I have used this software to prepare my tax returns (3-7 individuals), and find that it works well, easy and intuitive to use, and does a very good job at helping to cut through some messy tax problems regarding medical, family, student, etc., deductions

A small improvement for pensioners would be to include in the optimizer, assurance that, after optimizing pensions, the split does not cause either to owe over $3,000 in taxes, which triggers interest due on missed installments, and a need for installment payments next year. Optimizing, only if both can be kept under this limit.

Excellent tax software
I have used Turbo Tax for many years and find it extremely easy to complete using the Forms version. In only a couple of hours from start to finish the returns for my spouse and myself are completed and filed.

Can't Edit Medical Expenses
When I use the Forms method to input the information I found that I was unable to edit my medical expense inputs. I called support and they said that I had to use the other method of entering information in order to edit medical expenses. This is a bug that needs to be fixed. A great product otherwise.

Using Turbo Tax for 5+ years
I have historically used a chartered accnt to complete my taxes. About 5-6 years ago I bought my first Turbo Tax; very pleased with the intuitive interface and really happy with how it provides warnings for potential errors; very accurate and I have saved time & money.
