its easier than the other way
the product itself is really good, and easy to use. Don't get suckered into the survey at the end, they ask deeply personal questions and don't give you a "i prefer not to say" option on every question :(

cost
Quick and easy to use - using the forms method. But is getting a little expensive for only 2 people..It wouild be nice if Turbo Tax offered a less expensive version for a family of 2,3,or 4.

Great value

Just one problem I have. Turbo Tax splits my income with my wife just fine using the income split feature. Taxable income almost equal. However my wife pays a lot more tax than I do? Why.

Excellent Product
I have used TurboTax and its' predecessor QuickTax for over 20 years and will continue to use it but would like to see some improvements.
1. Ability to click on a column and have it sort similar to Excel. This would be especially helpful when reviewing the Medical Worksheet
2. Ability to disable Auto-Fill popup once I click that I do not want to use it. Continual popup every time I open TurboTax is extremely annoying
3. I like to use TurboTax Standard Edition because I like the Forms Method of preparing the return. But I only prepare 2 returns (for me and spouse).
You should offer Standard for 2 returns at a much lower cost with the ability to purchase additional returns

Never mind all the free stuff or the over complicated packages - turbo tax works! I manage all my family taxes and never have an issue. For the average user it's ideal.

I started my income tax on Turbo Tax in January when I first started to get my T slips.
My wife and I towed our travel trailer to Arizona at the end of February. We elected to stay until May 15th, so I had my daughter open my mail and email me a copy of all my t slips that had arrived in the mail. I was able to complete my income tax and Netfile it from Arizona. It only took me about 30 minutes and it was all done. Fast and effective. I have been using this program for the past 10 years.

An excellent way to do taxes
This is a very good and fairly simple method of entering your tax returns for CRA. There is lots of information supplied by the Help function, as well as on the "net". I did find it a bit confusing as I was doing the NETFILE when it asks about changing your Direct Deposit, or not using it (the wording is confusing at that point)

Problem with Industry Codes
My ONLY real complaint is that Turbo-Tax does NOT always recognize the Small Business Industry Codes that CRA uses (and lists on THEIR website), and it repeatedly brings the CORRECT code up as an ERROR during review. (This has happened 3 years in a row, so it's not a new problem).
Minor complaint is that stupid auto-fill option at the beginning -- after I turn it down ONCE, it should get the message and vanish, but it is a persistent sucker!!!!!!
