So Easy
I have used Turbo Tax to do our taxes for several years now and I love how easy it is to use. I just follow along and fill in the blanks as I go. I'm not great at math and Turbo Tax means I don't have to worry.

Ease of use for Couples splitting pension incomes
we found this program easy to use, once we had entered the correct info for both of us, to work out WHICH of us should claim the charity donations or the Medical premiums, etcetera, to ensure we were taxed fairly and yet not excessively. The program allows one to choose various ways of doing that split of incomes, etcetera and preview ahead of time what our taxes would then be.

Great Product
I like the quick reference of Turbo Tax suggestions, warnings, explanations, links to legislation .
The Federal and Provincial Governments need to streamline and simplify our Income Tax legislation -- exhausting to read and understand. Please reduce, simplify it.

I don't heart forms (of any kind)
Filing taxes is not my favorite spring activity, but turbotax makes the process simple. The steps are very easy to navigate, and explanations are provided throughout.
My one criticism is that the price has increased a great deal in the past few years, and it seems steep for the basic version.

Some really great features
The high contrast option and ability to quickly change the size of the print on the screen in front of you are a real bonus. The Quick Step sequence did NOT bring up the page(s) for entering individual charitable and political contributions (it has always done so in the past), and neither did the Find/Help resources. This glitch downgraded my Easy to use score due to the wasted time trying to find these pages.

What's Not to Love?
There was a time I was petrified of tax season! I like to think of myself as a numbers guy when I was younger, but taxes was the one thing I struggled with. Hated it! Paid someone to do my taxes, and I have simple returns. Then I tried TurboTax, and everything changed. I have been a loyal user for 10 years, and never once have I had an issue with my taxes. My fear is gone (although I still hate doing it! lol). Thanks Turbotax!

Easy to use and good value
Overall I find TurboTax to be a very good product and good value. It is easy to use but you do have to doublecheck the downloaded information for T-slips from CRA MyAccount to ensure accuracy. I find that every year there is information that is not quite correct on one or a small number of slips. This does sometimes appear to be due to the CRA MyAccount T-slips not always having exactly the same information as the paper copies. Once you get past that step it is quick and relatively easy to complete your return.

Keeps improving every year
The program matures more each year so keep up the good work. One think to look out for is when printing the Netfile confirmation sheet it prints 2 blank pages and one saying Great News and then the information sheet. Minor complaint, but the rest of the program was great to use.

I have been using the service for 12 years and I have been satisfied each year,

Easy-Peasy
