Quick and Easy
Highly recommend TurboTax as it is Quick and Easy to use. The easy-steps feature makes it simple and does not take long to complete a tax return. I have been using turbotax since it started and before that I used quicktax. Awesome product!

Easy System.
Having used this program before, it was only common sense to used it again. By just following the prompts and making sure that one has all the required paper work at hand, makes this a very straight forward system to use. When it comes to income splitting, it could not be any easier. All the work is done by the program. This is a great bargain.

Easy Use - BUT
I have been using this for several years starting with Can-Tax which became Quick-tax which became Turbotax. Following the step by step makes it easy to use. Occasionally things pop up for which there is no answer or work-around. eg: Discrepancy between box 20 and 18 on T4A(P). No way to determine which to use. Occasionally similar problems come up, otherwise, easy to use. Never had a problem with CRA.

Minor glitches
Glitch 1: max CPP contributions is wrong on Schedule 1, it's last year's. It is correct on Schedule 8. Glitch 2: on one return that I prepared, carried forward donations, that were claimed in 2016, showed up as carried forward to 2017.

The software takes the tax filing process which can be intimidating, and makes it easy.
The process of asking simple questions to obtain the data needed by CRA is simply amazing. I have never seen a piece of software that is so helpful, but easy to use.

Exceptionally Easy
Compared to the horrible time I had with this same program last year, this year's was a snap. This is such an easy program for anyone to use and understand. I have been using Turbo Tax for many years now and am so thankful for it every year since. There is no need for procrastination any more because it can be done fairly quickly, after gathering up all the information needed. Great program!

Good effecient way to do taxes in Canada
I have some relatives who fill out their tax forms with my copy of TurboTax.
Also, you seem to be allowed to download your copy on another computer...thus my son uses my copy of the program to do his taxes.
After using this program for more than a dozen years, it's very easy to use,
When I downloaded and transferred al my various T1 forms, some were initially missing on CRA's site ... but you are able to repeat you downloads/transfers. It will rewrite the T1 info that you had and add some of the missing forms. Therefore, I was able to complete my taxes, even before I actually received all my forms in the mail...Excellent!
