So simple and easy to do. Why pay someone a percentage of your return? That's your hard earned money that you deserve back! Turbo Tax walks with you step by step. I've been using Turbo Tax for years and will continue to use it. It's up to date, the price is great, and it really is so simple!

Best Way to Go
Very easy to use. Explanations along the way where you may have questions. Very accurate. We are seniors who split income and have used TurboTax for 7 years. For us it's a no brainer.

Works
It works, and certainly organizes all the questions and required information well. Only complaint I can say is when it caught a conflict with information I entered (which is fantastic), there was some confusion as to which series of pages I had to scroll down to modify, between pages that all sounded the same.

find that the copy has used way to much paper and ink. Is it possible for future tax years to reduce the amount of paper. How about using same amount as used in the forms packages mail by CRA

Improvements
Have been using Turbo Tax for approx. 10 years. For the most part I find it very easy to use and it seems to be very accurate.
However, there is some question to what is required in certain areas i.e. in the form for the house sale - the explanation of exactly what is required is vague.
On the house tax & rent form, there is no split for one who sells their principle residence then rents because they have some house taxes to report and some rental expense to report. Also there is no explanation for the energy - reserve. Where do you find or how do you calculate this amount; is it a grant from someone?

Tax is very easy

Piece of Cake Tax Return
Intuit's Turbo Tax is so easy to use. The easy steps walks you through a tax return and it only takes the time to fill in the blanks to complete your tax return and send it electronically to CRA! Definitely a thumbs up.

Taxes mostly painless
I was expecting to pay taxes this year, again. And, it definitely looked like it! But, TurboTax recommended that I consider Income Splitting. Not knowing anything about it, I checked different permutations using TurboTax. Bottom Line: I expected to pay $1300, but I now get back $1400. Needless to say, I am very happy with TurboTax at the moment....

Excellent Product
I have used TurboTax Standard for many years. It is even better to use this year. Just click on the section you want to revisit on the left-hand side and it immediately takes you back to the area you want to review and update as needed. Just take your time, make sure to click on every appropriate box and it took me only about 1 1/2 hours to do both mine and my husband's income tax; reviewed it several times and sent it off the the CRA. Sending it to the CRA is far less complicated now too. Just click and away it goes!
