Excellent Software
Turbo Tax is very easy to use. It will guide you step by step to file your taxes. It is not an issue even if you have no knowledge about filing tax. This software is designed for dummies.

Excellent Program
I've used QuickTax/Turbo Tax for over a decade. The software is easy to use, a lot of work has gone into this program to make it easy to use. I've used it enough that I tend to skip the walkthrough and head straight for the forms. Any form I've ever needed has been there. Great program, I'll probably use Turbotax for the rest of my life :)

Another year done...
I complete returns for my spouse and myself along with my in-laws and one daughter. My oldest daughter is now completing her returns using the program without my assistance. Overall pretty simple and quick and pretty seamless links to CRA as needed.

Simple way to file tax returns
Easy to use and prompts are helpful reminder to find and input information. This year's program has more helpful hints and non-technical explanations. However, the question on which spouse should file the Ontario Property Tax Grant was not answered fully. It did not advise whether the higher or lower tax rate spouse should claim.

Love It!
I do my taxes on paper first and then use Turbo Tax to check and net file. I almost always benefit from processing my taxes through Turbo Tax - either get a larger refund or pay less if I have to pay.

Much better than paper
TurboTax allows optimization both with its automatically calculated list of possibilities as in Pension Sharing and through its bookmarks enabling quick return to points where adjustments can be entered manually such as moving donation amounts from one spouse to another to determine the best sharing value.

Fabulous!

Easy To Use
I find TurboTax easy to use especially with easy step.
Two very good features are the RRSP and income sharing optimizer. To determine the best way to split income for instance would be time consuming by trial and error.
The only slight problem I had was determining where to enter foreign income. I indicated I received foreign income in the form of a US stock dividend but it ended being counted twice as foreign income.

MED expense worksheet head ache
I would like the system to remember the names of the various sellers or providers of service in this category so we do not have to re-write the full name of the company over and over again. ie. London Drugs or Real Canadian Superstore as supplier might come up if only the first letters of the name is used again ---- Thank you! If you can accomplish this, it would cut down on huge time loss.

Gets incrementally better every year
The software is incrementally improved every year and offers good value for those who need guidance for doing their returns to advanced users who go straight to the relevant forms.
A lot of new online features were added for FY2016 which I did not use but are very useful for someone daunted by doing their own returns. These features pull all your relevant government slips from employers, investments/bank slips etc and autoinput these into the software making this a very simple filing for those who do not have complicated investments, property or business holdings.

Better and Better
As someone who has always hated filling out forms and who used to pay a lot of money to get people to do it for him, I can say that TurboTax has been nothing short of a blessing to my life. I've been using it for quite a number of years now. The simplicity and savings hooked me the first year, but the program just keeps getting better and better, year in and year out.
