It works
This isn't the cheapest software out there but it works. It works every year time and time again. I have been able to rely on this software for as long as I've been filing taxes. There is something to be said for stability, it just works.

Great Tool for Preparing Tax Returns

Continues to be a good program
Had some trouble with the Pension Sharing Optimizer. It was not clear and somewhat confusing. Expected the Optimizer selection to show best when best was already shown. Had to do several tests to see which was the best.
Overall the Program did work well and was easy to submit by Netfile. Warnings and Hints very helpful.

Direct not always Best Price
I signed up to receive a download each year of Turbo Tax Standard believing that I was getting a special price direct from Intuit. The price they sell me the yearly download for is more than Staples sells it for! But it is a good program and makes doing taxes easy. There is always help for what you don't understand and the Easy Fill method takes the fear out of doing your own personal taxes!

Makes taxes easy
The easy step interface guides you through every step of the way, and ensures you don't miss any deductions you're entitled to. I've used Turbo Tax every year since 2005 and am very satisfied with the tax preparation process... and the refund.

Great product but coding error found
T3 box 42 will not accept a neg number in the forms mode. Did a work around with tech support. Presume it will be fixed next year. That number is not sent to CRA so not critical.

Use it every year
Simple to use, especially with Easy Step.
I use Standard version for my employment income with T4 and RRSP. Standard also works fine for my spouse rental properties and simple self employment. Figuring out how to transfer tuition claims from kids took some time, and you still have to write down few numbers.
I definitely recommend using it.

script error
I have used this software in the past... but this year, the software kept saying about the "script error" message thru out the filing. I don't know if this is from my computer or the software itself. hope it will be fixed in the future. I have installed and uninstalled it twice with same results. annoying!!!!

Auto-fill
I used auto-fill to bring my T-slip info into turbo tax. This worked well, however:
1. some T-slips were split into three different entries
2. the auto-fill window pops up asking to click to auto-fill each time the return is opened. It would be good to not have this prompt repeat each time ... kind of annoying.
3. Netfile is smoother than ever.
