every year, better and better
I have purchased Turbo Tax every year for the last seven years at least. I think i missed 2008, maybe lol. I filed late that year since i couldn't navigate the OTHER program i purchased... Luckily, i came to my senses and started buying Turbo Tax again. It is a mistake i will not repeat.
I have never recommended a product to anyone as much as this one. I Love the connection with Revenue Canada and the obtaining of information made so easy. The ease of use has gotten so powerful, it literally files itself these days.

Spliting % of investment
Need to be more explicit that you need to enter the information ONLY ONCE with the % designated and the % split will be calculated automatically. NO NEED TO REENTER THE INFORMATION ON THE OTHER RETURN. Some of us are a bit slow and may need a bit spoon feeding.

Excellent overall. Have used for many years. First year netfiling - not completely smooth. May be type of my return and sources of income, but it worked. As before, splitting registered pension income is a bit convoluted.Operationt never seems to start where the indicated spot is and I have to improvise till it finally starts up. This section has always been frustrating, but ultimately accurate. I use the forms method, as I am very used to proceeding that way, and it ensures, in my own logical ways, that I forget nothing.

Longtime user
Always used this product for years. The one issue is that the 12 pages related to the Calculation of Capital Gains deduction for 2016 are not really relevant, and take up half the paper used to print out the Return. When printing my wife's return, there was no data on the 12 pages! A total waste of printing!

Excellent product. The explanations and user friendliness has improved dramatically. It seems to pick out better saving opportunities than in the past. Better programming? Good explanations and overall good communication. The only thing that was a bit goofy was entering dependent credits. Had to kind of manually highlight...took a minute or two to figure out. This could be easily fixed so that once you clicked on the dependent, it would automatically highlight. Simple programming oversight.

Great and Easy to Use
If you are like me and filing last minute before the deadline, this is a great tool to have, it does everything for you and tries to optimize your returns. All you need is your tax slips, receipts, and expenses (that took the most time for me to get). It also helps you send the files directly, its fast and efficient.

Reliable with Accuracy
TurboTax is the program to purchase, as it is easy to use with its Easy Step template or for the more seasoned tax filer like myself, I can go directly to the individual forms to input my data. The helpful tips and warnings that are given to the user to double check entries and decisions, help the user feel confident that they have completed their return accurately.
I have been purchasing TurboTax since 2009 and will select no other program than Intuit TurboTax.
Thanks Intuit for creating a program that makes doing taxes seem effortless.

Great Product - Wouldn't do without it
This years version was even simpler to file with CRA. Just a simple button press. The only issue I have is the tuition transfer is still somewhat cumbersome. A simple explanation to do your kids returns first and the amounts will be found from those returns when you get to yours would have saved me from jumping around from return to return so much.
