One of the best value purchases every year
The decision to start using Turbo Tax in 2010 instead of paying an accountant was one of the smartest financial decisions in my life.
Not that my accountant was bad, but I have taken control now, have saved hundreds of dollars in fees, the software continually improves, I have clear digital copies of my returns and I am very happy to keep using Turbo Tax every year.

Turbo-tax

NETFILE function is even easier to use, also like Notice of Assessment feature available after NETFILE. And now have option of CRA - Autofill.

Long Time User
Have used Turbo Tax and it's predecessor Quick Tax for many years. This 2016 version is one of the easiest to use and definitely improved the ability to Netfile.

DIY Taxes
Easy, fast and cheap. My grown children also did their taxes with it so 6 tax returns for 1 purchase. And I did my sole proprietor business with it.

Life Saver at Tax Time
I have used this product for a number of years. Some years we had a small business that was included in our personal income tax and now just personal income tax.
It has served us well. It is easy to use and ticks all the boxes when it comes to pensions, income splitting, medical deductions and the list goes on.
I strongly endorse this product to anyone who likes to do their own income tax as well as for family members.

bad Update
not impressed with last update. had to uninstall TurboTax and then reinstall. It was possible that I could have lost data. Thankfully I did not.

turbo tax standard
for the price and number of basically simple returns you can do, it's a great bargain. Even if it was for only two returns it's a great value. Only thing I would like improved is for a lot of prescriptions they could have the person's name and drugstore name keep copying on each expense until changed or ended by the user.

Great Purchase
Great this is the 5th year using turbo tax and love it easy too use and a fairly good price better than going to a tax place who some charge you has much as 2 to 3 times more and they are probably using this software

Love It!
Been using Turbotax since 2003 (formerly QuickTax). Very easy to use - always accurate. I don't know why anyone with an average, uncomplicated return would pay someone to do their taxes??!! Have kids who attended post secondary institutions - transferring and carrying forward student credits has been a breeze with Turbotax! Before 2003 tax year I did my taxes by hand and used a tax professional a couple of years - NO MORE!! Netfiling is simpler than ever and you can get your refund in no time! Great product, great value. Highly recommend it :-)

Loyal Long Time Users Need Spare Change
Highly trusted product year after year. Would be great if charts/graphics and/or stats were included and printable such that current and previous tax years could then be compared. My only frustration is that the cost of this product remains high (or higher) given the production cost; perhaps Intuit can lower the number of returns from 8 to 4 and thus lower the retail cost.

Excellent Download of Information
As in previous years, I was able to easily transfer personal information from previous Tax Years, saving lots of input time.
This year, for the first time, I utilized the Auto Fill feature, and easily and seamlessly, the figures were transferred from the CRA website to my return.
As in previous years, the program suggested ways to optimize deductions between my spouse and myself, and provided me with tips and warnings for areas to be aware of.
I have used TurboTax for many years to prepare my Return, and each year the programming gets better and better.
I highly recommend this product.

Completion for a deceased spouse
I found it very time consuming to complete my return and that of my deceased spouse since they must be completed separately. It would be much easier if we could do both returns together or at least be able to keep both returns opened. Also prevented me from using the optimisers.

Getting easier
