Great help through the years
I've been using Turbo tax software from Intuit Canada, and been preparing my tax returns through the years. It's very easy to navigate and I'm satisfied with every aspect of it. Thanks to Intuit for giving the tool to do my tax preparation myself.

Easy to Use Program But.....
With the complexity of tax filing, I suggest the help screens should be more intuitive.. Suggest to use image descriptors along with hotlinks over fields showing examples and much clearer descriptions, especially where selections can be ambiguous with regards to multiple variables, such as disability tax credits, etc.
Otherwise a very good program for compiling annual taxes.

Super Simple!
I usually have my taxes done by an accountant but decided to tackle them myself this year (for my husband and I). Turbo Tax was super easy to use and I'm happy I decided to take the plunge. I'll be doing them myself from now on.

some limitations
I found that program does not provide for the printing of either a "remittance voucher (if owing money)" or a "tax return summary" rather than printing entire tax return (at least I could not find these).

Very pleased
Have used TurboTax for many years. Every year
there are adjustments that make it easier to
use. Last year or two improvements were made in
splitting pension and this year it was much easier

I love the Turbo tax optimisers. Once you've got all your info plugged in, either using the Step-by-step method or the Forms method (both easy), you use the Optimizers (Medical Expenses, Charitable Donations, Pension Splitting) and RRSP calculator to figure out how to minimize your tax payable and maximize your refund! So easy
My family has used Turbo Tax for many years now. It makes filling your taxes so easy, by walking you through each step. By asking you want information you have to file before you start inputting information, the program skips over the things that aren't relevant to you and prevents a lot of possible confusion. Many of the terms have definitions and more information available simply by clicking on the word. I couldn't ask for an easier, or more affordable, tax program.
