Easiest to use
When downloading CRA slips for combined spousal filing the program crashes. Otherwise it is an excellent product.

No Brainer Simple
Using Turbo Tax is straight forward with the Easy Step method. As long as you have your documents and information in order it's about as simple as it gets. Direct link with CRA online account provides accuracy and reliability.

Pain free tax time
Back in the day when I did my taxes with a pencil and a lot of arithmetic ( before the politicians found out that if they couldn't dazzle you with brilliance they could baffle you with fancy footwork) tax time was a chore. I started with Turbo Tax before it was Turbo Tax and have reduced my tax time chore to hours vs the days it took by hand.

A veteran User
I have been using Turbotax for a very long time and have always been satisfied with the process, ease of use and ease of filing. I have not had any problems with CRA as the result of my submissions through Turbotax. My daughter shares my account and now adds her 2 daughters now that they have to file returns. This is the real bonus - being able to share my copy with family.

Very easy to use
Very easy to use. You are guided all the way through the sections and questions. You can move back and forth as often as you need. You can check and double check and check again all your information. The tips and warnings are very useful.

Great software for tax preparation

10 years and still so easy to use
This is my tenth year doing our taxes using Turbo Tax - I used to use an accountant - simple and easy and the step by step walks you through. Even this year with child starting university - showed what was eligible, what wasn't, what could be transferred to parent, etc.

Easy to use
I use the Easy Step process and it guides you through the steps seamlessly. Easy to go back and make changes and skip around to where you need to continue. Continual updating amount to be returned is nice to see. If needing to flip to Forms and back to Easy Step is intuitive as well.

Used TurboTax for last15 years
Works fairly well so I buy it every year.
One complaint: the auto-fill feature messes up with some of my T-slips (CRA and Revenu Quebec).
This year the software crashed a couple of times but it recovered after a reset.. I have noticed that the computation gets slower every year but it still does the job.
I find that I have to jump around between the Easystep and the forms quite a bit.
The split pension optimizer feature is cool and works well.

Very easy to follow
I have been a loyal TurboTax user and always been pleased with its ease of use especially with the EasyStep interview feature. Very user friendly overall for everyone with varying levels of personal tax knowledge. There are some helpful optimizer tools aimed to help individuals maximize tax opportunities available and ensure all key fields are captured.

When I was filling out my return, there was no information I noticed about detailed or simplified deductions for moving expenses such as meal allowance, vehicle fuel deductions. needed to research that online.

Tax support tool
This product is very helpful in assisting anyone to complete a tax return. Most of the forms are auto filled after you answer a few questions and import your T-slips. You still have to add information to investment slips like the T5008.

Good product
I really like that I only have to input information once and it is propagated wherever it's needed. Plus I can use last year's basic info to get started without having to input it manually. The running tally of the amount owing/due is also helpful. Everything is in one place and it's easy to complete returns in one session or multiple sessions.

A real time-saver
For many years, I continued to use the old "pencil and paper" means of filing income tax. For the two of us, this meant about 2 weeks of boring work. With this tax package, I was able to complete our taxes in 2 days.
