turbotax standard
Very good product and easy to use. One suggestion is when filling in small business forms where business income is split between two partners, that information for the business could be transferred automatically between partners. Perhaps the motivation not to do this is to upsell to the more expensive Business product, but for a very small business this doesn't make sense. Overall quite happy with TurboTax, have been using it for several years.

Done and in the pub in an hour!
Easy to use and helpful tips and hints. Just have your receipts ready and you are done within an hour! Used this package for many years now and taxes are now an annoyance rather than being an all day chore as they used to be! I started around noon... took my time and it's now 1:25PM and I'm off to the pub to celebrate my tax return!!

Great Tax Software
I have been using Turbotax for eight years, its my go to now, Very easy to use and straightforward and thorough, my suggestion is to always buy the CD version not the download version as then you can submit joint returns with your spouse.

It's ok
This is the first time I've used this version of Turbotax and found it relatively easy to use. I liked the way the pension optimizer work but couldn't figure out the donation and medical optimizer. In those cases no suggestions were made as to what amounts would be the best to use for my wife and myself.

Keeps getting better
I have been using Turbo Tax (formally Quick Tax) for 16 years now. Throughout the years I have become very comfortable with it. As a newbie you will appreciate the step by step guide. Every year the software becomes easier and logical to use. I filled out my tax and while using the check feature I realized that I did not include claiming my transit expenses. Thanks Turbo Tax, you just saved me another $520.00

Turbotax-an exceptional product
I have used TurboTax and its predecessors (QuickTax, Cantax) for over 15 years. I have found it invaluable. My tax return includes reporting income earned from employment, some farming income, income from stock and GiC investments, capital gains income and occasionally have to pay the Alternative income tax. TurboTax standard (plus occasional telephone conversations with persons from Revenue Canada) has enabled me to file essentially error free returns every year over the many years.

What a breeze.
With being registered with CRA, ALL my tax documents were automatically entered. All I had to do was answer the simple questions, and my whole tax return, including my wife's, was completed and filed in AN HOUR.

Just one question got to me "Is this Communal Income". I find this question and placement of the line item confusing as I think most readers think this is either living with a spouse or something of equal. maybe consider reworking it and placement of question.

Nice Program
I Have used the program for over 20 years and It makes the returns much easier to calculate. What I like most is that I can play around with the deductions to see, which is more beneficial for us.
Standard version could be a little cheaper in price, but I will continue using this program.
