Auto fill is great
I have used Turbo Tax Standard for many years and found the auto fill feature a great innovation. I used it on 3 returns and found it to be completely accurate.
The only change I would request is an earlier 2 part warning about T5008 forms that are auto filled. The T5008 is not accepted by Turbo Tax until one indicates the type of income. Since it did not register at the time of entry, I entered the information again manually only to find in the review process that I needed to indicate the type of income. And at that point it was entered twice. I would like to see the warning at the time of entry rather than at the review stage. I would also like to see a warning about the cost box. Financial institutions don't always complete this and sometimes they complete it incorrectly because they don't know what transactions you have in other accounts. A simple warning to check the ACB box would be helpful. It is easy to overlook when using auto fill.

Problem? ? ?
1. Turbo Tax lists a title for the person submitting a return. My wife died October 27, 2015. What title should be used for her return, i.e. Ms. Mrs. Miss. Widower, Divorced, Separated, ? ? ? I am the widower, she is ? ? ? ?
2. Have to make filing for a married couple which one died during the tax year to fill via Turbo Tax.

An Excellent Product
I have used TurboTax for at least 10 years. Every year it steadily improves. It ia easy to use, and the questionnaire at the beginning allows it to navigate to exactly the forms you need to complete to provide all the information you need to file.
I trust the calculations, and feel confident that I have received the maximum refund/paid the minimum amount of tax due every year.
Although I am a mathematician, I feel more confident in filing my returns using TurboTax than if I prepared them myself.
I would recommend this product to anyone who has not taken the (significant) time to thoroughly review and understand all the tax laws and rulings for the year in question.

Reliable and easy way to file
I have been using turbotax for several years now, and each year I find it easier to file, with more of the work done by the software.
The best part of the software is the proportioning or sharing or income, medical and charitable expenses.

simple
This program makes tax filing the way it should be, simple. I used to do the paper forms and would end up with several versions all with different amount owing to the CRA or refunds. Since I have started using this program, it has been much simpler. We usually get our return within a few days of submitting to CRA as well. This also makes it easier to help our parents file. Couldn't be happier with this program.

Great tax program
I've used TurboTax since the days it was call Quicktax. I've been using this program since 1997 and it just gets better and better. Very easy to use. Great value. I love the easy-step and my wife just goes directly to Forms. We won't use anything else.

Way better than an accountant
Turbo tax gives me year over year ease of tax filing. All of my CCA inputs are done automatically, and the calculations for shared business/home costs are listed as required.

Consistent Product
I like the carry forward feature that tracks information that is required in years subsequent to the current year, automatically enters that information as required in subsequent years and includes it in the tax calculation. The automatic update feature also ensures that the latest tax rules are included in the package and any errors are expediently fixed. The built-in suggestions on how to save taxes have consistently saved me tax and the automation of associated calculations have obviated manual recalculations. An excellent, trustworthy package.
