Easy for the non tax savvy
I was a bit skeptical doing my taxes myself for the first time as I've always went to someone (or my mother) to do my taxes for me, but after getting Turbo Tax I'll be doing my taxes myself from now on. It was so easy to use and the easy step guide made me glide through it quickly without confusion. I can't wait to do my taxes again next year!

Very easy to use
I have been using TurboTax for the the last two years now and it has been great so far. Much easier to work with than my previous software, especially when dealing with lots of details, like US stocks, etc.

Better than Advil to take the pain away
This is the 5th year I use TurboTax and never regretted it. The software is easy to use, even for someone that has employment expenses. The easy step by step guide works well and takes the guess work out of the equation

No Brainer Purchase
I've always dreaded doing my taxes... but this software has taken all my anxiety away. Now I can confidently look forward to getting my taxes done correctly all the time.
This is my 3rd year using TurboTax and each year the program has gotten better and easier to use.

A Great way to save $
I decided many years ago to do my own income tax so I would have to know the tax system and thus minimize income expense in all my financial transactions.
In the early 80's I set up some spread sheets to make the job easier (some I still use). I even considered developing a SW package but didn't have the capital to do so.
Shortly thereafter, some commercial ones came out and I found that they saved me at least 50 hours each year so were a good investment. Turbo tax is a complex system because our tax system is complex. This results in some navigation issues and search limits but I find the product gets better each year.
I cannot understand why people don't buy a software package when they pay huge $ to someone else to use the same software to complete and file on their behalf. They could save themselves hundreds or thousands each year after a short learning curve on Turbo Tax (or some other tax software).
All the packages provide the best available tax information for less than the cost of a 1/2 hour of a tax accountant's time and include instant error correction, running summary, joint on line filing, automatic guidance information, and all the digital features we take for granted on our phones. If you can manage your smart phone, you could master Turbo Tax (or an equivalent product).
I would suggest that the potential saving would pay for a new cell phone each year.

I'm an 83 year old retired CPA, CA that spent his early years, (50s & 60s) in practice and at that time everything was done by pen & pencil. I find it a joy to work on Turbo tax for my wife's & my returns. One of the worst things that happened in the past is that you would complete a client's return and and a couple days later he would give you some more information. Erasers didn't last long in those days. Great System!!!

Steady improvement
TurboTax gets better every year. These days, the changes are small, because it already is pretty good. NetFile has improved greatly. One minor complaint is that the software sometimes defaults to launching IE for some URLs. Other times, it uses my default browser (much preferred). Maybe just some left-over code in there somewhere? Sorry I can't be more specific, it only happened once this year. That used to happen all the time, so Intuit has got things almost perfect. See you again next year!

2015 Product Better than Ever!

Easy to use. I like the optimizing feature. I like that I can move back and forth between the Wizard and the Forms. I have always hated doing taxes. Since I have used Turbotax (6 years now), I find doing my taxes pretty stress-free.

EASY and on time

Great Tax Aid
I have used Turbo Tax and its previous product for years.
The program eliminates math errors. It lets you review before filing.
You can try different splits in ie pensions or deductions to get the best results .

Awesome Product; Sometimes Confusing
I love this product and I recommend it to my friends every year.
The only issue I had this year was in regards to claiming my vehicle as a work expense. I never had to for past tax returns. I found this program was not set up well for those learning how to claim expenses such as that. It became frustrating and confusing during those claims.
Besides that this program is always great and easy to use.
