Intuit software just works! Plain and simple. It could use an improvement for self employment and paid for professional consultants. Online and self contained help files that provide examples for professional versus income from 'other' would improve the product.

Best Tax Software Ever
I have been using Turbo Tax for many years. Before it's name changed. I have experienced it's gradual improvements over the years and have actually enjoyed using it to do our returns. Well done Intuit. You guys REALLY give the BEST VALUE for the BUCK.

Used Turbo Tax for years
Great program! Love being able to do my own family's taxes. In all the years I've used it, I have only experienced one issue in figuring out how to fix an error which was identified during the review section. Went to the Turbo Tax Support icon and searched the community discussion boards and found the answer. I will buy it again next year.

Takes some of the pain out of tax time
Very easy program to use. Could never do my taxes, found it very overwhelming, always had to pay someone to do my taxes for me...not any more. I have used Turbo Tax every year since 2009 and will continue to use Turbo Tax in the years to come

Good product
Does most things in the standard version a middle income earner requires. Optimizers are helpful in deciding spousal amounts for various claims.

Super easy to use
The preparation of my yearly income tax is never fun, but the TY2014 version of TurboTax makes it enjoyable and easy. The NETFILE function straight from the program was the best and fastest it has ever been. Thank you Intuit for another fine product!

will always use turbo tax
I will always use turbo ax as long as I am doing my own taxes yearly.
It is easy to navigate and use. After years of using it, it would not make any sense to change.

Great help to the mathematically challenged
I have used quick or turbo tax for at least a decade. The format is now pretty well set so after 11 months it is easy to get up to speed. I usually set up last year's returns on a second laptop and go through the pages on each program and make sure the correct boxes or info is entered, noting any changes in numbers etc. I am retired and my entries are relatively simple so I have confidence in your program and thus do not want to change. improved graphics
glad to see they used my suggestion to be able to increase the font size. makes it a lot easier to read and enter the data. suggest a few more colour options for the linked text as some are colour blind.
would be nice to use the enter key when entering all the extra data for share sales rather than having to use the tab key to go to the next cell.

Turbo Taxing
Overall ease of use is great - takes some time first time through but once you get used to the interface it works well. I am pleased with the accuracy and speed of refund (though not technically a program asset). Having gone through a gamut of tax solutions this gives me the flexibility of entering info as I receive it, and doing some checks and estimates prior to final submission. Other options are a fill in the blanks and press send, which I find too restricting. Yes, I would recommend TurboTax - but with a small caveat that some tax knowledge is indeed required.

Great filing experience

easy adjustments
had to remove a form and a couple of changes... turbo tax did all the corrections and added up the statements without needing to do a bunch of erasing at 2am trying to get this done the old fashion way!

Taxes Made Easy

Easy & Intuitive
I have used Turbo Tax (and it's predecessor programs) for many years and it just gets better each year. It takes the stress out of doing your taxes and for first time user's the Easy Step process is excellent. And the inline Netfile process is back again so that makes it even easier!
