Changed My Life!
Turbo Tax is the best software going - bar none. If it were ice cream, it would be a banana split with cherries on top! I was a dedicated pencil and calculator person for years and years. Turbo Tax changed my whole attitude to filing tax returns. Now I am done and dusted in minutes - not hours!

OK BUT IF YOU MAKE CHANGES IT HAS ERRORS
I USED EASY STEP FOR MY WIFE AND MYSELVES RETURN. I READ SOMEWQHERE THAT DISABLED DEPENDANTS WITH INCOME LESS THAN 19???.00 COULD BE CLAIMED. MY TWINS ARE ON ODSP FOR AN INTELLECTUAL DISABILITY, WITH INCOME OF 14???.OO AND 12???.00 SO I SAID YES TO CLAIMING THE AMT FOR CHILDREN. I WAS UNSURE IF I COULD CLAIM THEM, SO I WENT TO FORMS DEPENDANTS AND CLICKED ON A FEW OF THE LINKS. I FOUND THAT THE TOP NET INCOME WAS 13???.00. I WENT BACK TO THEDEP IN EASY STEPAND CHANGED THE YES TO A NO FOR ONE OF THE TWINS BECAUSE THEIR INCOME EXCEEDED THE LIMIT, I THEN SAVED THE FORMS. I THEN CLOSED THE PROGRAM AND REOPENED IT. GOING TO THE FORMS THEMSELVES I FOUND THAT THE DEPENDANT CLAIMED WAS THE TWIN THAT WAS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE CREDIT. IN THE END IT DIDN'T EFFECT THE OUTCOME BUT SCHEDULE 1 SHOULD HAVE BEEN RESET WITH THE CHANGE, ALSO TWIN WITH THE INCOME OVER THE LIMIT SHOULD HAVE BEEN FLAGGED.
