Good value for the buck but very annoying offers
I used Inuit Tax software for more than 8 years, and it was always easy to use and good value, but this is the first year that I am annoyed with all "extra offerings" - upgrade, get your will started, get support for audit... Will give it a go next year, and if Inuit keeps insisting on this "value added services" will switch to another software.

a joy to do taxes?

Terbo Tax

Turbo Tax is Easier to Use than Ever!!
I have been using Turbo tax for over 10 years and it just keeps getting easier and easier to use. The quick step "interview" type process makes sure you enter all of your information and calculates your return properly. It's idiot proof, really! Also, the net filing option couldn't get any easier. I would absolutely would recommend this program to my friends, no matter what level of computer skills or tax knowledge they have.

I think the new Turbo is much easier that the old one. When I didn't get an Access Code I thought I wouldn't be able to file this way. This is much simpler than putting in the Access code and then listing all the other information that was already on the Tax form.

Ease of Use

Excellent product
I've used Quick Tax / Turbo Tax for many years, and have been very happy with it. The wizard is a bit tedious, but the forms method with review is a very easy and fast way to do taxes.
I'm really writing this review to tell you about my one peeve. When the application opens, for me it takes an excessive amount of time (~1 minute on a very fast machine) before there is any feedback to the user that anything is happening. I often think I didn't click properly to launch the app. This has been consistent across many software versions and computers. There really should be something obvious to tell the user it is loading.
Otherwise, great product.

Great Product
This years version is great and has a lot of enhancements which makes it very easy to use. I also like being able to make a payment via credit cards. Also, I like the way the program is setup to submit the income tax.

#1 choice for many years ...
Every year, the tax forms & calculations seem to get more and more confusing. But with TurboTax it's a piece of cake. I would never use any other software package. It saves a lot of time and is a terrific value for the money.

Very easy to use
I have used Turbotax for many years. As a senior and having not grown up with computer technology I find it a little daunting at times. Turbotax is very easy and user friendly even for me. I had a problem and called the help line. Sandeep guided me through it and showed me exactly where I had gone wrong. He was very helpful

I have been using TurboTax for many years. It simplyfies things by combining the spouse information with my own. However one thing that could be improved, is the accessibility to move to a specific area under the easyfile; when you want to go to a specific area under the review option. Ex: Split income section. Overall, I think it's great and I'll be using it again in the following years.
