Used this package for years!!!
If your return isn't too complicated (& even if it is) this product helps guide you through the process and is able to answer your questions along the way. The improvements made each year continue to make this product very user friendly. I feel confident when I file and I feel in control of my own personal information. I would highly recommend this product to others.

I Have Always Used TurboTax/QuickTax
I can't remember the last time I manually completed my tax return. For over 20 years I've been using QuickTax - then TurboTax - and it has never let me down. I've never been audited. I especially appreciate how it helps me keep track of investment losses and capital gains from year-to-year so I never miss an opportunity to use a loss to shelter some gains.

I am using this software since it started
Easy to use, simplifies the preparation of tax return.
Suggestion: If split income is filed there is usually difference - one party pays and the other party receives refund. You have to file separately and pay the owing amount and the party receiving refund will receive the refund. Not very efficient.
The taxpayer can do the calculation (can be part of the program) and claim the difference.

Saves Me Time and Energy
I am an accountant but still find this software to be very simple and easy to use. Helps keep my personal records tidy and complete. Have been using TurboTax for years to prepare the family's tax returns and plan to continue using TT for many more years. Great value!

Turbo Tax
Turbo Tax really is turbo speed filing - made easy.
Sometimes though, the print is hard to read.
A magnifier option would be handy - like a small magnifier widget that can be dragged across to any cell to magnify the text say by 2x

Pleasant surprise while netfiling
A big wow at the end of the process: netfiling was a breeze compared to past QuickTax and TurboTax versions.
I wish that TurboTax would allow the help screens to open in a different window so that users can toggle between the tax forms and the help screens.
I also wish that the various forms (such as Donations) could be PDF'ed - not just printed out.
Those are my only suggestions (that I think every year but never bothered to write them down). I'll be pleasantly surprised again next year if TurboTax had these two improvements.
From an over 10 year satisfied user of QuickTax/TurboTax.

Best Tax program
I have been using Quick tax/turbo tax for 14 years. I tried using a different tax program, on the advice of an acquaintance, but became very frustrated with the difficulty to use. I returned this program, purchased Quick tax and would never use any other.

TAX PREPARATION
I think , it should be improved.....e.g. I can't prepare 2 tax return at the same time (myself + my wife)...If I'm doing my Tax , don't have all the information from my wife's return , like Net Income ,Self employment Income, etc......it should be some way to allow me to "jump" from one return to the other...... Thanks

I use this program every year to do my mom's, my mother-in-law's, my spouse and my return. 2014 Turbo Tax Review
I have been using Turbo Tax for several years and I find it very efficient and easy to use. This year though, as I was doing a final wrap of Estate taxes, (my father passed at the end of 2012) I carried the information over and it did reflect that I was doing taxes on behalf of a deceased person.
What I would like to suggest to the "software developers' is to refine "the return of a deceased person". I found it a bit bothersome to have the FIXES at the end asking me if I was sure I didn't want to apply for the "Working Tax" and other tax benefits. I had to go the long road with each and enter to IGNORE, or "Does not apply". Granted, on the first year 2013 when I thought I had completed the final income tax file, all those questions were pertinent, but I had a couple 'unexpected things mailed to me, after I had completed 2013 filing" Maybe another question could be asked, under IS this for a deceased person. Maybe a 'check box' to indicate it is 2nd filing. As not all them questions are required when a person has been deceased for 18 months. There is really no chance of them working or buying foreign property etc. ;-)
