Another great year
I have been using TurboTax and its predecessor for over 10 years and keep coming back because of its ease of use. This year I had a problem with Netfiling one of my returns but Monica at the HelpDesk patiently helped me through the problem. Without her I would never have found the teenytine error that was causing the problem.
Thank-you TurboTax you make the pain of income tax filing a lot less painful

easy to use
The step by step process with reminders was extremely helpful Takes the pain away from filing taxes.
Only used 3 returns but the program was well worth the cost as it found me more than the purchase price in savings that I didn't see originally. Will use again next year!

Worked well
For my basic needs it worked very well for my kids and I. I like that you can seek help if you need to, but that its not to complicated that you have to with a basic return. Furthermore, the fact that the three of us could use it, makes it economical. Thanks for helping the little guy.

EASY TO YOU USE
Even if you are not an accountant, you can easily use turbo tax yourself.Just follow step by step the instructions and then you will save your money by paying somebody else to do it for you .

Great service

Fast and Easy - Great Value
Overall, TurboTax Standard was excellent again this year (2013 Tax Year) but I wish it would stop asking me if I want to claim stuff.
Obviously, I want to claim stuff - who wouldn't. So why ask me if I want to claim something like Ontario's OTB - only to find out that we can't get it because we make too much.
A better approach would be to ascertain whether I can claim it, and then - indeed - claim it.
I would be pretty upset with a tax program which allowed me to opt out of claiming something to which I was entitled. I mean, really, WHO would decide "Nah, I don't want that money back. The Feds should keep it, I'm feeling a bit generous today."
And like the HST/GST thing: why ask me? Claim it. If I can't have it, then tell me "you can't have it" - but don't waste my time by asking me if I want to claim it. I want it. If I can't have it, then so be it. Etc, you get the picture.
But for all my moaning and groaning, I still like TurbuTax. I've used it (or QuickTax) for years and it's still doing what it needs to: walking me through the whole process and keeping me happy with the returns we get.
