Easy to use!
I am a designated professional accountant and tax preparation is not my specialty. I have used TurboTax for years as it is the most easy to use and comprehensive software. It really is fool proof. I would recommend this software to anyone from basic user to advanced.

Still some problems
1. When asked how to save and print forms, the answer in the right column applied to the on-line version and did not apply to the Standard version.
2. The Charitable Donations Optimizer is a royal pain and offers no "undo" feature if you do not like the result. It would not allow a carry forward to next year. It took me several hours to manually undo all the entries and the overrides - wasted $800 of mt time. Fix this please! None of the 'Help' or FAQs helped in any way, just scared me that i might not be able to use Netfile which is the whole reason for buying your software.
3. You do not learn that the 'Print' feature for the return is different from the PDF version until AFTER you complete the Netfiling. A waste of paper and ink and loss of data on worksheets that were wanted.
4. Take all of the advertizing of other products and services OUT of the Easy Step narrative or cancel them once they are seen. They are a nuisance for a skilled user who might want to zip through the system for review.
5. You should explain more clearly at the outset how important the Personal Profile dialogue is and remind users to take special care or risk getting messed up later. As it is the system did not correctly put 'X's in the right YES or NO boxes of the return - you figure them out - again an unnecessary waste of time checking all the forms manually and changing the answers - I am surprised that this did not generate errors or warnings.
6. The new Netfile feature is lovely and much more convenient.
7. Watch the 'voice ' in the dialogue. Every once in a while it switches positive and negative and if you are not really careful reading the offending ones you can give the opposite answer to what you meant to say.
8. I was impressed that although I had no self-employed business income this entire year due to a lengthy illness, the software carried over and reported outstanding CCA claims from last year.

Great Software
This is the second time using this software. It is very easy to use and navigate through. Before using a tax program, I did all the family income tax by hand. It was very painstaking and time consuming. The program was not very expensive. If someone is not very computer literate then this program would be ideal. Easy to load on my computer and very easy to use. Whether you are a pro or first time tax preparer, this is the program to use. Great software. Keep up the good work.

Awesome & Easy
I really like using Turbo Tax for my Tax return. this was my 4th year using it, and I don't think I will ever go back to any other method. I just organize my receipts as they come in, then early April I go buy my Turbo Tax, and usually as long as my internet doesn't go down I can have both mine and my husbands returns done and sent with in about 2 hours. I Love the Ease
