I have used turbo tax for a long time. I had no experiance in preparing taxes before using it I use step by step so easy love it. I also love the changes they made to this years version makes it even easier!

Best version yet
I really enjoyed using this year's edition of Turbo Tax Standard. I have been using this software for about 6 years now, and I have found previous versions to be confusing in certain areas. This year's changes and improvements have done a very good job of correcting those areas. This year's edition is a vast improvement, and I am very pleased overall.

Turbo Tax is amazing!!!
I have been using turbo tax for the last three years. I used to go to the major tax preparing businesses. I paid astronomical fees and got half of the return I rightfully deserved. Those buisnesses want to prepare your returns as quickly as possible, while charging you fees that wouldn't even be fair if in fact they were labouring over your return. I love turbo tax! I am not mathematically inclined and I am certainly not an accountant. Your software is easy for any person to use. I have both saved and earned back so much money thanks to your software. Thanks turbotax!!

Easy to Use - Needs UI upgrades
Extremely easy to use - and definitely a repeat customer.
Only changes recommended:
:: Better User Interface - the current menu design/structure is confusing. I spend more time trying to figure out how to get to a specific form or back to an interview question than entering data.
:: Better know-how of where you are in the system. I like to review by forms, but enter by interview questions - going back and forth is difficult. Especially if I want to change an answer that is in the middle of an "easy step" set.
Overall great product though!

Improves every year
I've used TurboTax for a few years now, and each year I find it's improving in terms of clarity and accessible help topics. My one complaint would be the price which seems to escalate each year...would love to see that hold a bit steadier! (But that's true for everything, I suppose...!!)

Need Turbo For Mac
Turbo Tax works on my old PC but I have now changed to a Mac. Turbo Tax needs to service the growing Mac users. The online version for Mac is too expensive if you have to prepare four returns. Smarten up Turbo Tax, you have been at this for years!

confident in result
I am always very confident in the result I arrive at after completing my tax using Turbo Tax. The flexibility it gives with the optimizers for pension splitting, charitable donations and medical expenses is truly amazing. These calculations would be impossible by hand

Makes things simple

Better Each Year
Turbo Tax improves each year. The ease of Net Filing this year was amazing! The only thing I'd like to see would be a printable Confirmation page showing the taxpayer's name, the date of filing, and the Confirmation # -- avoids any possibility of copying the confirmation # incorrectly, or on the wrong return
