Continues to meet the need
I do returns for family and friends as a favour and Turbo Tax fits the bill. I wonder why Intuit does not set this program up as a planning tool, so people could input data throughout the year, such as investment info, medical expenses etc, then complete the return when the year end info comes in.

So easy!
Just completed returns for me & the Mrs. and it took less than an hour. The software makes it really easy to enter info. Being able to add bookmarks is really handy for making notes and reminders to come back to things later.

Easier than Ufile

Turbo Tax & Pension Splitting
Anyone who has used this program before will be aware of the RRSP optimizer feature. It is only useful if you prepare the return prior to the deadline for purchasing RRSPs which does not help a last minute Joe like me. However, this year (or maybe last year and I didn't notice) they added a pension splitter calculator & optimizer for those who are retired and are splitting pension income (my case). This was really useful and made taking advantage of the pension splitting tax benefit really simple. I just retired in 2012 and this was something that I was a bit uncertain doing on my own. Turbo tax took the guesswork out of it!! Really pleased.

Turbo Tax is a Winner
I have been using Turbo Tax for quite a number of years to file income tax for all our family and a few friends as well. This covers a lot of different income situations. Turbo Tax is very user friendly and allows me to complete my work very rapidly and easily. I am very impressed with the fact that the program is constantly improving. But one of the best features is the price. It is so economical for our family to file income tax. I used to pay a high price to have our income tax prepared by private companies. This was costly and mistakes were made. I would and do recommend Turbo Tax to all my friends.

Turbo Tax is so easy!
Turbo Tax makes Tax time much less difficult. We particularly like the pension income splitting optimizer. Before Turbo Tax, that part alone would require hours of iterative calculations. Now it is done in a few seconds.
