Help windows
Overall, a very good product I've used for years. I only have one complaint: stop making the help windows open right at the top of the screen. I run my taskbar there and they always open under the taskbar. It's a pain to have to do the clicking manipulations to manually drag them down the screen where I can get to the window controls in the top left corner of each window.

Very Helpful
My family taxes are not complicated, so this is an efficent way of completing the tax forms without having to crunch a bunch of numbers. Netfile saves extra time as well.

Easiest
Turbo Tax Step-by-Step walks you through the entire process. If you read and answer all the questions you will get every deduction you deserve. Just make sure that you have all the documentation ready. Going back to add or change things is clumsy and slow. One feature that I really like is the running refund total so you can see the impact of every entry. Especially convenient when filing a dual return where you have to decide who takes a given deduction. The only thing that bugs me is that it always costs more to buy direct than from a retailer. They should offer a download with no CD for less.

Great Product although...
This product is great and I use it every year. The only problem I seem to have every year is that it is a chore to determine where to put the payments to pension plans like the Saskatchewan Pension Plan.

We did not use netfile. We had to mail our return in. You should put the address where the form is mailed in your material.

Good Purchase
As always i had very few problems. A little trouble with NetFile warnings, it seemed like the program would not automatically remove the problem. I managed to figure it out.

Simple but effective yearly use
The layout and flow of the SW is very user friendly and the entry of necessary components is well displayed.
The application has evolved well in the last 10 years and will continue to be the tool used for my family.

Excellent Product
I have a basic tax return which I used to mannually slug through. Last year I decided to give Turbo Tax a try and purchased in a store. It was very quick to go through the steps and generate my tax return. This year I purchased it on-line effortlessly and quickly prepared and file my tax return.

Just The Best
I have used Quick Tax and Turbo Tax for years now and I do have to say that this is the best format I have worked on in a couple of years. This year was so easy to use and understand. I am not sure if it is because I am so used to using Turbo Tax or because it has been improved that much, whatever the reason, I absolutely loved working on Turbo Tax 2012. It took no time at all and I was done, which I absolutely loved. Thank you so very much! Keep up the excellent work.

Makes Life So Easy
I really appreciate being able to use TurboTax to file my personal return. I have been using it (and prior to that Quick Tax) for a number of years now, and love the way it does all the calculations and enters information in the right fields of the T1 General. I sometimes fine the NetFile function a little difficult, but that is improving as I have more experience with the program.

I saved a lot
I saved over 150.00 by using Turbo Tax, I had completed my tax return by hand and the calculation I came up with was 362.00 with Turbo Tax my amount owing is 181.00. Thanks Turbo Tax.

Great Software
Love the software.
So easy to use.
Even if you have no real knowledge of income tax, you can prepare your own, assuming you do not have a lot of complex tax issues.

Easy to use
Good software; very easy to use. Makes doing your taxes very easy to do. But it is expensive. If you do your taxes on the internet it costs less than if you do it in the downloaded software.

First Time User and it was Easy!
I have always done our income tax returns on paper and telefiled (and that's for 3 returns) each one, which took 45 minutes to telefile each one. I was most upset to hear that I could no longer use this method, that I had to netfile. Yikes! I asked my brother which program he uses and he said Turbo Tax, which he has used for many years for the 4 of them (self, wife, and 2 adult children). So, I picked up a copy and then procrastinated over it for a week. Tonight, I sat down and started to use it and fill in all the required information....it was wonderful!! took me step by step and set up warnings/hints to make sure I didn't forget something, or input something incorrectly. I was amazed how easy it was to use! And I am DONE!! Now, I just need to wait for our refunds! I especially loved the optimizers...who should claim which expense, and how much to pension split...FANTASTIC!! I'm hooked, I'll use this software going forward to file each year's returns. Thanks for making it so easy!

Great product
I have used and relied on this product and its predecessor for many years now. This year's edition is better than ever. I can rely on TT to do the right thing so I just provide the correct data. However, I do carefully check what has happened to the data entered, i.e. where it is used and how. By doing this I have found my own data entry error or my misunderstanding of the instruction. I like the optimization and the ability to contact someone on-line who can resolve or explain any issue I encounter. This product is well worht the price.

Very Easy to Use
Being the first time I filed tax returns without hiring an accountant, I was a little worried that this process would be difficult. TurboTax made it easy to file! The step by step guide made it a snap to do...I don't think I will be using an accountant anymore!

Wouldn't go a year without it.
