Medical
It would really speed this up if on the medical entries when you entered a new date it would repeat the info so that you only had to make minor changes. My friends have a large about of medical receipts and it takes forever to make the entries.

The program definitely needs a "Back" key like a browser to navigate between forms. Your sister product Profile has back and forward keys.

Easy to use
This program is amazingly easy to use, even for the first time user. You can find the slips that you have on screen and simply fill them out. I dosen`t get any easier.

Great Product
Easy to use pretty cheap considering how much time it saves you over doing it by hand. Have used Turbo Tax for a few years now and love it. Definitely recommend it to people young and old everything is clearly laid out step by step.

Well Worth the money

changes
The only negative thing I have to say is that I don't like how TT opens Internet Explorer by default (my default is Firefox). I suspect it's because Firefox won't allow remote access to one's computer as easily as IE which I understand is needed for some of TT's features.
I love how straight forward and simple Easy Step is and how the help links are right there when you need them.

Couldn't do without it
I've used Quick Tax now Turbo Tax for years and never had a problem with it. For a small buisness like our ranch it's a must have at tax time.

8 years running...
By far, when using it over and over, so much of the pain saking data gets transfered from one year to the next...., only if you use the CD version and ONLY if you use it on the same computer...yes.
So, I have the El-Cheapo Compact that I keep alive just to do my taxes.... and to send my kids to when they are fighting over the MAC !

The Best of a Bad Thing
I've used Turbo Tax since 2006. It's still the best and easiest way to do something we all hate to do (Taxes). The only suggestion I would like to make is that you explain how to pay owed tax better. This is the first year I've paid and found the process quite confusing. Having said that.....I'll be back but I'll use my APPLE IMAX next time.

Easy to use-whats with the medical expense prompt?
Excellent the way the software walks you through the process. I saw the same problem as last year with the software but I do not know if it is a glitch.
We had NO medical expenses to claim but it still prompts us to submit dates for medical expenses

a bit challenging but would do it again
the actual process was pretty easy except for it needed an upgrade and I did not do it right away and could not figure out what was wrong BUT thankfully there was an online help line and theRavinda to the rescue told me what to do and it worked out. otherwise the process was really easy.
thanks for helping and making tax return time cheaper.

Why pay an accountant?
If you've ever prepared your own paper return, this is way easier. Some years, I have asked accountants to review my return before I sent it. Every one was impressed, some asked me if I wanted to work for them! I will say that I did pick up some tips from the professional accountants who reviewed my tax returns, and incorporated their suggestions for further tax savings. Two minds are better than one, but you don't need to do this each and every year, and it's way cheaper to pay an accountant to have a look over your prepared return than to have them do it from scratch.

Simple, easy, worth every penny!
I've used tax software since the programs were supplied on 3-1/2" or maybe even 5-1/4" floppies. I've tried others over the years, but always ended up back with QuickTax, now called TurboTax. I've always found it the most user-friendly and straightforward product out there.
And it just keeps getting better year after year!

I have used Turbo Tax for many years. My big problem always comes when I try to find the file for NETFILE. Because the file name is so long it does not show in full on the screen and I have the hardest time finding it in my computer. It would be no exaggeration to say that I spend more time on this than I do in entering my tax info. I wish you could make this easier.
