easy to use
The only complaint I have is why should I pay more for this product when I order directly from you, and have for many years, than I can get it in the local store and now in the local post office. How fair is that? I have to pay more so the others can get it cheaper. NOt fair. Just cancelled my auto ship order. but love your product. So easy to use. love it.

Disability amount transferred
I am disappointed that TurboTax did not warn me that I had claimed Child Care costs on the lower income parent when it generated the disability amount transferred to the higher income parent. It is too easy to submit a return that has too high a disabiklity amouont transferred. This should be corrected.

Help feature really helps
I have used this product for many years and it gets better and better. The help feature provides explanations using CRA-written information and also adds less formal explanations. I welcomed the "split pension" optimizer this year as I didn't have to do any manual calculations to figure out how much, if any of our pension income, my spouse and I should split. I also like the way I can flip from a form in my return to the same form in my spouse's return. (I don't use the "interview" method.)
All in all, a great program.

Fool Proof!
I've been using Turbo Tax (originally Quick Tax) for more than five years. It's extremely user-friendly. I don't think a person could miss out on tax saving opportunities using this software. I simply don't understand why some of my friends continue to pay top dollars for an accountant or worst, use a tax preparation service, when a software like this is at everyone's reach.

Simple & Quick for Farm Returns

I tried the online version. I didn't like it much. The software version is much easier to use and intuitive. Come back year after year and the import feature makes it fast and easy.

So Easy
Been using the program for 10 years now and find it so easy to use even with all the changes with taxes each year, the Turbo Tax people keep up with that and you just enter your information and VOILA it is all done for you

Makes Tax Returns Easy
The program makes filling out a tax return easier than it canbe done manually. The biggest advantage is the ability to make corrections by entering the corrected data. After a correction is made the program makes all of the related corrections.
The one improvement that I would like would be the ability to jump directly to a page that I did not flag. In the easy step mode you must start at the beginning of the section and step through the section until you getto your desired point.

Excellant for OurFamily Needs

Wonderful for a senior

Use it every year
I have used Turbo tax (used to be quick tax) every year for what seems like forever - It's got to be at least 10 years. I remember my wife doing her own taxes and coming up all upset that she owed 800. I rechecked, and re-did the math and found a 700 refund after HOURS at the table...that was about 13 years ago. Suffice it to say, she goes no where near the taxes, and both our returns take me an hour with this program. It's easy, foolproof (idiot proof?) and reliable. We aren't accountants, so this is the only way to go for us! See you next year!

Excellent Software
I have been using this software before it was TurboTax. I enjoy working with it every year. It is easy to use and walks me through any mistakes i may have missed or omitted.
I enjoy it to do returns for all my family members as well.
I would recommend it to anyone interested to do their own returns.
