Makes filing your taxes painless
I cannot imagine doing my taxes by hand anymore. Since 1998 I have been using QuickTax then TurboTax. I download the tax software in January so that I can determine how much I should contribute to my RRSP's by using their RRSP optimizer.

good software
RRSP wizard is great to determine additional contributions to make. Having info in help to figure out how to claim child care expenses but not child care credit (ex is) would be helpful. That was the only reason I had to pay for tax advice. Having a simple way of seeing that would reduce my expense.

Best Tax Program
The process of doing the income tax once again appears to be very straight forward. I do 8 tax returns each year. This year I had one of my adult sons do his while I watched and he went through it with very little coaching. I did not find the questions on the right hand edge from other users particularly helpful but it may be that the income taxes I do are very straight forward.

Excellent product, no tax pain
Fast and easy, that's tax returns by TurboTax. I am rarely if ever confused, and the new easystep handles all the tuition stuff automagically. That used to be really confusing and now it is trivial. My only complaint was that TT launched IE instead of Chrome to file, which caused me some grief. But that's pretty minor and maybe it's even a require of the federal government (whose web site is just an embarrassment.) Anyway, I've never used any other product and I cannot imagine ever doing my taxes by hand. Well done Intuit.

perfect but
I am a returning customer. PLease fix the recurring problem with co-owned rental property page. If I enter co-ownership as 50% and save, and then enter to the same page some other time, box which previously had 50% in it, gets deleted. This causes 100% of the income be taxed on the half owner. Each time I enter this page I have to enter %50 in that box.

I love this program
Turbo Tax is very easy to use and explains each step very well for a common user as myself. I feel like I am getting a better service than when I paid hundreds for a CPA to complete my returns. I just wish I had started using turbo tax sooner.

Much Improved
