Why was the directory changed for saving copies of our returns? When I went to save my return Turbo tax tried to go to c:\programfiles(x86)\TurboTax2020
when it always has gone to c:\user\NameOfUser\Documents\TurboTax\2020\myreturnfile.
Why would you change this, you selected an administrator privileged directory..

Almost perfect...
I use this software every year and usually without fault but this year there were a few kinks that upset me (CRA issues aside).
At one point the application forced me to select the "Ontario Senior's property tax grant" when I never selected it at all. This seemed to happen when I choose any other Ontario (or provincial) tax credit, for some reason it forced me to also choose the senior's tax grant as well. I almost submitted my return with zero provincial tax credit applications as a result. Thankfully, I was smart enough to go into the "forms" version and deselect it manually...what a pain though, not sure why this happened.
Aside from that, because of the stupid CRA issues this year and accounts being randomly locked out, this software kept crashing when trying to submit my wife's return. I eventually succeeded but after the last application crash, it seemed to forget my return was successful and wanted me to do it again...so now I'm paranoid that the return may have an issue...but I blame the CRA for that.
Anyway, the rest of the time the app worked perfectly, I can't complain.

Taxation Relaxation
I have used TurboTax for decades in all its previous incarnations. The program has constantly improved, made it easier to use, and easier to get help. I can quickly input my information, have it reviewed for additional options I may have missed, and netfiled...and with direct deposit, I get my return in the shortest amount of time, ususally two weeks or less.

good purchase
I have used Turbo Tax for many years. The forms are easy to follow and complete. I prepare taxes for myself and spouse and like the ability to switch back and forth between claims while entering data. It is also easy to switch back comparing who should claim interest income or deduction expenses to our best tax advantage.

Cheaper than an Accountant
Very straightforward and can be used simply as a guide along tool or provides step by step detail. I like it, have used this program since probably 2005 and am happy to get my taxes out of the way and submitted in a couple of hours
