Tax Reporting Made Easy

Avoid tax pain
Using Turbo Tax makes it extremely easy to complete and submit your income tax. Having all the information at your finger tips makes it even easier. I happen to use Quicken to manage my cash flow and expenses. It tracks all the interest I have received from my various accounts as well as support payment made or received. I track my medical expenses using a simple worksheet. As I receive the stubs, I track the cost of drug/service, how much was refunded as I encounter them. At the end of the year, I have all the info I need to complete the medical submission requirements. I keep all my donations in a folder to be used at tax time. From there on and with the help of Turbo Tax, it's a breeze. The only pain may be if you you owe tax at the end of the process. By looking at the process from the current year, you might get ideas on how to reduce that tax for next year.

Better Than Ever!!
This is about the 20th year I have used the automated tax return and Turbo Tax has done a great job of staying current and user friendly. This year went smoother than ever!!

Always Hated Forms

The only confusing question was when they asked you in additional information at the end, "Do you have no income to report?" and the answer was Yes or No. That is not straight-forward at all. Yes I do have income to report, or No, I do not have no income to report. Confusing!!

I have been using Quick Tax now called Turbo Tax for at least 8 years. I find it very helpfull and user friendly. The Turbo version is just as easy to use EXCEPT I find that the printing of the information is very faint in colour. The colour should be changed and made DARKER, this will make the overall process easier to work with.

Better Every Year
I have been using Turbo Tax (formerly Quicktax) for at least ten years now. It was a good program that kept me organized, but I usually at least a few had troubles while preparing my return. However, the software did noticably improve every year. Last year I thought it was really great, but the 2011 Edition was flawless.
It is nice to do business with a company that sees perfection as an achievable goal and is committed to continuous improvement. Short of hiring a chartered accountant, this is the best method of tax preparation for the average person.

This is my first time to use this product. Unfortunately for the other products, I won't try theirs anymore. Turbo Tax is so easy to use and has saved me a lot of time and money. I'll definitely be using Turbo Tax for years to come.

just great
I have been using TurboTax and QuickTax since 1996. Thats 15 years, wow how time flies. Each year it seems a little easier to use, and well its almost enjoyable to do your taxes, even better when you get a return. Thanks for another great tax year, see you next year.

Loyal Return User
I've been using QuickTax (now TurboTax) for the last 5 years and have found it one of the easiest software programs to use for preparing our basic tax returns. Why pay a percentage of your tax refund to the other guys? This software automatically optimizes who should claim credits (married couple), figures out your optimal rrsp contributions to save you money etc etc. Would recommend this to anyone looking for an easy to use/fast and accurate way to do it yourself!!

easy and accurate
I used this software for years, and about 5 years ago I switched to different brand, it was a bit cheaper, but much harder to use and not as accurate. It totally missed my child care expenses. After that I decided to go back to TurboTax, and haven't looked around since. The help is very intuative and each section if explained in detail if you're not clear. Overall , a great product.

Wish I had done this years ago
My dad, who is 86 years old, is a CA and has been verifying or doing my taxes for quite a few years (he likes to help). Last year, I did it, but then out of courtesy, I let him "verify" my return. He made some "corrections" which were totally wrong. This year, I thought I would avoid the whole discussion, and purchased Turbo Tax. I am very much regretting that I didn't start to use it years ago. It was almost enjoyable to complete my return this year - thank you!
