Fast and painless

"Easy to use and good Value"
I've used Turbotax and its venerable ancestor (Quicktax) for a good many years, it works well, provides good answers to questions the user may have; I will continue to use it in the future .

Simple Tax Returns
Turbo Tax is by far the simplest way to prepare a standard tax return. Just follow the Easy Step instructions and voila! you have a complete and accurate return in about 30 minutes. Can't beat that. Great value for such a simple to use program.

Great Tax filing program
Using TurboTax was easier than I thought and it made filing online so much easier. If you are use to doing your own taxes or have a hard time, TurboTax makes it simple by just entering in the information that you are asked

So Simple!
I buy this product every year and it's just so easy to use. Can't believe I spent so much time and effort with an accountant before. It saves all my information from previous years so you don't have to keep going back and re-entering all your personal info which is a huge plus. I will continue to use Turbo Tax in the future.

Always Turbo Tax
I have used this program for years, originally Quick Tax. In the mid to late 90's I tried another program and swore to never again use anything but this. Thank you Turbo Tax.

Keep coming back to TurboTax
I have been filing our taxes using TurboTax (formerly QuickTax) since 2003. The program keeps getting better since you can import the previous years return and it retains everything down to your automatic deposit payment account.

I have used Turbo Tax for the last 7 Tax returns and had no problems with any.
The ease of use and the tax saving tips are of immense value, in particular the RRSP contribution analyzer. Will surely continue using Turbo tax for my future tax returns.

Errors
One question during Netfile you referred to "Canadian Indian". I believe "Indian" is a politically incorrect term, not saying it offends me but...
Another question asked: "do you want to claim no income" in the Netfile process. This is confusing since you are submitting you income during Netfile.

Too easy!
Excellent tool all through.....until you reach the NETFILE page (within Turbo Tax, not at CRA). Very confusing. Repeating data entered way back at the beginning. The references didn't match up exactly and the wording was repetitive and, again, confusing.
All but for that one page, EXCELLENT!

Where have you been all my life!
Gone are the days of pencil. calculator, 10,000 forms and a big ole eraser! This makes tax filing so simple and easy. Would highly recommend this to anyone who wastes money paying someone else to file for them.

Overall an Excellent Product
TurboTax makes tax time much less complicated and time consuming. The EastyStep feature eliminates much of the potential for confusion and error. Opting to use and simply complete the Forms is great to save time and for going back to add and amend a Return. I generally just fill in and complete the Forms because I am very familiar with the product. I use EasyStep when there is any question in my mind as to what I need to do when preparing a particular family member's Return. I have also demonstrated the EasyStep feature for friends and family who are considering the purchase of tax preparation software and in particular Turbotax.
The only significant problems with the product are: (a) print size (it is rather small); and (b) on screen print colour (gray on white). I often find myself squinting to read the text on the screen. For those with aging eyes (like me) or with visiion issues (like me), the an option (during installation if possible) to follow simple steps to enhance resolution would be very much appreciated.

Easy
With this software tax preparation is very quick and easy. Filed online in a matter of minutes. I wish the cost was less for my current basic requirements but it is not bad. I have been using TurboTax (QuickTax) for many years and found it very good with my more complicated tax returns and my simple ones.

The least amount I've ever spent on taxes

I could not use my MAC
The only issue I have is you cant but the program for MAC use. However you can go online and do I retune at a time. Who ever get a program like this for mac I will buy it
