User Friendly! Best purchase for Taxes!

You will love the 2020 tax year improvement
I Love, Love, Love the new final automatic submission to CRA. Once you have completed your tax file and want to submit it directly to CRA it happens automatically with a record of date of submission, Confirmation # from CRA and expected amount of refund or payment due.
No more launching the CRA website, saving the file, finding the file and submitting as I had to do previously. This is concierge service. Love it.

Turbotax has been a great help to me for several years. I have many entries due to charitable donations and investment actions.
Without Turbotax I would have been forced to employ a professional or a company both of which would still require me to assemble (put together) the many documents involved.

Split incomes
Great programs for those who split pension incomes and makes it easy to see the amounts and stay under your OAS clawback levels just have to check your net income amts after using the optimizer. You can then adjust the amount to your circumstance.
Wish they would do the same for investment Carrying cost between spouses that share T-slip and investment items.

Superior Buy

SO EASY TO USE!!
I've used Turbo tax for the last twenty years, save one year awhile back. Every year has been exceedingly easy to do. The program walks you through every step and has mountains of information should you been unsure of ANYTHING! Our family loves it so much that now my children are using it!

Standard is Exceptional
I have been using this product for years without any problems, This year, 2020, I ran into a problem with a Manitoba Education Tax Credit. I spoke to Andrea on the assist line and with her help we were not only able to resolve the problem with a work around but were able to identify a problem in the software that turbotax can fix before others encounter it.

Excellent value for money
You can enter data, leave, and return any time to resume entering data and completing the forms. Any errors can be corrected quickly and the software re-calculates immediately. The Netfile option is very convenient.

Needs some clarification
In the Standard version you input T5s for interest received from investments. Then further on in the program you are asked to enter your investment profile and if you click on Interest Investment and include the T5 information it doubles up the information and effects the amount of refund. This follow up section should clearly state do not include any interest claims on a T5,
