2020 turbotax
The program is simple and quick to use as always. This year had a glitch installing from disk, my virus protection said there was a trojan virus to work around this I had to sign in to program in a couple extra steps. But other than that Great as usual.

Easy to Use
I like the flexibility of the 'back' button so I can review what I've selected and confirm that I haven't missed anything before submitting to revenue canada.
Alternatively to using the 'back' button, I can select any portion of the return and edit/review that portion only.
Overall, Turbo Tax is a flexible tax package.

Works great.
Turbo Tax Standard works well for us, even with investments for T5, T3's etc. Premium level get suggested but isn't needed for me. Having connection to My Account at CRA saves time and ensures their records match mine. Can also transfer personal info from previous Turbo Tax returns. This year that was done before starting this year's return. The Optimizers for Pension Income splitting, donations and medical expenses help a lot when I try the options suggested. I keep notes to help remember the best ways for future returns. Make sure to SAVE once in a while (it's in FILE) as in the past I'd lose it all if I got off track. Hopefully they've fixed that.
Well worth buying. I get the CD version at Costco which includes an access code to download the program directly as I don't have a CD player on my PC anymore. We've used Turbo Tax for over 10 years now and remember how slow and how almost impossible it was to optimize things without hours (days) of trial and error. We love Turbo Tax.

Wouldn't Use Any Other Software
I have been using TurboTax for years now and find it easy to use and, for the most part, easy to follow.
It would be useful if there were more detailed explanations/definitions in some areas, especially if you are a first time user. But all in all, once you've used this product, you wont switch!

Minor change
I have been using Turbo Tax for several years now and I really like this product. However, I would like to see a minor change for the "Interest and Investment Income" section. I should not have to upgrade to the premium version of Turbo Tax just because I earned a little interest on my bank savings account. I think you need to modify your question to reflect how the interest is earned.

Reliable as Ever
I've been using Turbo Tax/Quick Tax since 2006. I used to do it with pencil and paper and would dread the task. With Turbo Tax it's so quick and easy. Preloading all my info from the previous year saves time and hassle. The new features of importing your T slips and Notice of Assessment from CRA save time too. I also like the RRSP planning tool that will show you how to maximize your refund before the deadline. There are free programs online but I like the fact that I can have this one on my computer and revisit at any time. I do the whole family's returns. Worth the money in my opinion!
