cumersome
software added nonrelevant forms and continued to ask for the empty forms to be completed. The forms affected the final result of the return. Using the software took longer than completing by hand

Intuit Turbo Tax
Turbo Tax should provide some means of contact prior to purchase of program. I have used it for several years but when I entered my e-mail address it said no records found or similar but I get e-mails from Turbotax all year long. There was no way that I could find to ask anyone about this problem.

Excellent except
I found that as usual this was a very good product. However, the medical optimizer needs an update. Despite my spouse needing no tax credits, it kept putting them against his tax return. I had to manually force it to put the credits against my return where I needed them

A Pain
Some sections such as CNIL and AMT are hard to follow. Somehow need better linkage between explaining tax intent, easy step, and the actual forms as a whole, not just lines. All in all, this is way too complex and CRA needs make taxation simpler.

Good Program for Individuals
The program was fairly easy to navigate and intuitive when it came to filling in information. There where times when it was difficult to move to past screens to review and change information. overall the program is good for individuals with little or no knowledge of the tax system.

A suggestion
Turbo Tax Standard is a good product that I've used for years but a couple of things. It would be nice to somehow print the supplementary
worksheet screens. Also the ability to print or save to excel the TSlip entry screens especially if there are lots of T3, T5, T5008 and T5013 slips. Also if lots of T5008s then a third page in the Schedule 3 Supplemental Statement to show the complete list. I had 84 T5008s this year. Thanks..

2022 Turbo Tax Standard
Although 8 returns can be made with this software, nowhere on the box does it indicate that you are limited to using it on 3 computers.
When I completed my return, I found out that there are 5 returns for over $25,000 and 13 returns for under $25,000. This information is also lacking on the product box or any description of the product. This can be very misleading.

Fast but not always easy
I completed and filed my return in record time, but it would have been even faster if the CRA interaction portions hadn't crashed the application. It took multiple attempts to get my T-slips downloaded but it was smooth sailing once this was done.
And I don't mind Intuit trying to sell me an upgrade if it is appropriate, but the rationale they gave for pitching it was not correct! A bit worrisome and unappreciated.
A great result with a so-so experience.

easy
easy to use but the limits of being only 8 returns because of income is wrong if 20 is the max then it shouldn't matter if how much money you make. Have used this program for many years but our family is growing and this year had to purchase more because the kids made more then $25k will be looking into another product next year.

Effective and Quick if you are Organized
Easy step by step walk-through to complete taxes. Make sure you have the right software for your requirements. Rental property not able to be completed by Standard. Compare each offering to make sure it is right for you. Also I don't recommend purchasing it from a store that provides a "key" on the purchase receipt. Bought one at Costco and was unsuccessful in registration to open softward. I don't know why these keys are not in the actual software box but .... buyer beware

$10 price jump = too pricey

The program should allow me to print detailed input forms of investments and charitable donations and not count the printing of such information forms as a new file. Thsi is not right. It is far in excess to count the printing of a form as filling a whole new tax file. This needs to be reviewed.

Good except if you have T4A andmultiple businesses
Easy to use unless you have a T4A for a 2nd business. It won't let you choose which business to add the income from box 48; it adds to the 1st business, which in my case was the wrong one.

Pretty Good But Could Be Improved
I've been a CA/CPA for about 35 years. I user TurboTax because overall, it does a good job. BUT there are a few attention-to-detail items they have failed for a long time. Such as (a) trying to allocate medical expenses to a spouse with no income and then after you've fixed that (b) doing it again after any change or correction to medical expenses. For all the things TurboTax does well, I shouldn't have to watch for dumb mistakes that even a first year accountant wouldn't make. That's one example but there are a few others that they haven't fixed either. Which is to say, they don't really pay attention to customer feedback.

Slow with bugs this year
I use Turbotax every year.
This year it is so slow to respond to mouse clicks that I swear it took twice as long to complete my return.
Then I got error messages on E-Filing but it worked and I got a proper confirmation.
Also printing is borked. The only way I could print my Spouses return was to save to PDF then print from Adobe. Otherwise I got another copy of my return.
Nothing show stopping but it was the first time I've been annoyed while using your product.
