Program Glitchy
Hard to change errors before sending it off.
Practice makes it easier to use but very unforgiving - keep your eyes open and make sure you select the the correct spouse when entering T slips and others.

Pretty Good product
I've used turbotax for many, many years. This is the worst version to date. Usually easy step is "Really Easy Step" but things were omitted and I had to use the manual entry to forms method. Also the links on the left were greyed out an not useable. To go back, one had to click the "back button".

Disapionted
I'm truly disapointed in TurboTax. I've used it for many years and now I find that the Oprimizers are not available with the Standard vfersion. This despite the clear indication in the help section that it is. Either you include it or not don't claim you do and then you don't. I have to think about the next tax year

Using many years
Easy to use step-by-step help. The only complaint is with medical expenses and donations. If they should/could be carried forward to following year, they should delete automatically when box is uncheck, rather than having to delete one by one which is very tedious.

Great for straight forward tax returns
I have used Turbo tax for the last 6 years. It is user friendly, optimizer calculations save you time and money, lots of options for getting help and reviews, I would recommend this to anyone who wants to save time and money by not having to pay someone to do you taxes. Also the quick and easy net filing is great for faster refunds.

After many years of using this programs I
developed a need to contact Intuit. It took me too long to get them and it was after waiting
and trying. So finally I gave up and tried the next day.A complete waste of my time. Again

One small major glitch
When I first sent my completed form to CRA, they did not accept it. They did not tell me why it was not accepted. When I removed the optional security code that was on my previous years assessment and resent my form , it was accepted by CRA. If possible have CRA state why the form is not being accepted.

Ease of use of Turbo Tax
It is very straight forward with lots of information. I was confused in places but got out of it by reading more information provided but it just took me longer but it was done right to my knowledge. This is my 8th time doing this and the only thing I find hard is changes and figuring out how they apply to me.

Joint Investment Income
Overall product was straightforward and easy to use. We experienced difficulty when entering joint investment T5 information. The joint investment should only be entered once. We entered it twice with 50% noted. It should only be entered once.

Good purchase
The only complaint I have is that I was unable to get the required update. Took 3 downloads for it to finally work. Clicking on the "go to updates" brought me to nothing that was helpful. TT810 error kept coming up.

Good tax preparer
The program is good but the CRA is getting to be a pain in the. Too many codes, put in a Netfile Code but where is it ? Not on last years assessment but it came up for my grandson but not on my wife's or mine. If I go back to mailing it will because the CRA is making it too hard, almost too much security.

have used for years - still learning, take notes
mostly using EasyStep process - helps to hit all items, but I've taking notes about what to select for next tax year, and need to pre-select any new items that I need to process. Navigation is okay; but some screens one needs to try out command options (buttons, check boxes, radio buttons) to confirm action desired; I have a simple self-employment business, so use a "Business" profile - need to make sure in Profile to select the correct type of business to handle correct type of revenue, fill in correct field in final return; 3rd item: TY2018 had some capital gains, but didn't offset some long-time capital losses - need to dig into that issue still.

Medical Expenses
Please improve your medical expenses section. Every year I have to tweak it to ensure it select the right person to claim the expenses. You program to select the lower income spouse which is not always the best selection. In my case, the higher income result in higher income tax refund.

Very good
I would like to see the minimum income allowed before going into the limited (10) returns increased. You get 10 returns over $25k but it has been this amount for years and minimum wage and wages overall are going up so this should be increased or the limit of 10 increased.
