Fine but frustrating at times
if you are doing nothing it works well but if you have a complicated issue like my daughter has with her disability transfer it does not work well and support by phone is not able to handle the questions and on line they do not respond

ok-with issues
Found it very difficult to go back and edit medical expense receipts info after noticing errors/omissions on my part. too many hoops to go through.

Forced an operating system up-grade
Turbo tax should not have a product that forces us to up-grade from Win 7 to Win 10. If we wish to continue using a so-called outdated OS then that is our business. I suggest that Turbo Tax should have a Linux friendly version available.

Good software, but cumbersome
I have used TurboTax and its predecessor for years now and while I've tried a couple of other products, I keep coming back to it. However, it has grown more cumbersome over the years and I find myself frustrated when the software asks me the same question two or even three times. Such duplication is potentially confusing for less experienced tax preparers, but it's annoying for experienced ones. Tax software shouldn't be more bureaucratic and redundant than the CRA itself. I'm sticking with TurboTax, but I wish they'd allow users to disable the repetitive steps. In trying to make the software "idiot proof," TurboTax has made it more cumbersome.

Easy, practical
If you have a simple income and expense income tax claim then Turbotax is perfect. It walks you through each step of your income from most common sources from pay cheques to RRSP removals. It helps you plot out expenses well. Even if you have some complication, it will identify it and likely adjust for that or at least will tell you to seek other advice. Also I've used this for myself and two children in the past but now my son does his taxes and I do mind with the same purchase but on different machines in different provinces.

Good Product
I have used Turbo Tax Standard/Quick Tax for more than 10 years. It is a good product and basically easy to use.
My personal situation was challenged at the beginning of 2021 and was not able to purchase the Turbo Tax program when 1st notified by email. I was confused with the Inuit site & finally was able to find the product I needed. But, I will say that the 2020 product is worth buying.

Happy I made the leap
Totally worth the effort and cost. Of course I'll have to wait for my actual return to know for sure if I'm happy. The input and NetFile was a pleasant experience. It took a while to get it done just because I was being very careful.. I'm looking forward to TurboTax 2021. I'll be much faster.

I find the program printed unnecessary pages not related to the tax return being completed. The pages in question are printed to be shredded.

Easy to Use
Being using Turbo Tax over the last 10 years, and found it quite reliable for our income tax needs. Once you get use to the program, it is quite easy to get around and as long as you input the numbers correctly, with the added review system it has, we found it quick and easy to get our taxes in on time.

Prefer Downloaded version
I used Turbotax for many years. Last being online. This year I went back to downloaded version. TT needs to make switching between version easier. No way to retrieve last year data for carryover, etc. I also prefer the user interface of the downloaded version.

Make it easier
Please make doing taxes for deceased people easier and more straight forward. Add deceased as an identifying choice. Make linking deceased persons with their widows easier. Death is a "Life change"

Income Tax Comfort Zone
I have used turbo tax for over 10 years. This is a testament in itself. I've always used a CD download until this year. A new computer required the Download version. I did have a bit of a problem finding and completing the download, but once located, I was back in my Income Tax Comfort Zone.

Confusing Tax Submission
When I submitted my taxes, Turbo Tax did not confirm that my wife's taxes had been submitted at the same time but it provided the TOTAL TAXES OWNING for both my taxes and my wife's taxes. I was not prompted to submit my wife's tax return. THIS WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING AS I ENDED UP SUBMITTING HER TAX FORMS 1 DAY LATE. Intuit or Turbo Tax should be paying any late fees.
