Not comparable with the past Software
Was unable to file a simple COVID-19 claim for my wife for the period she worked at home. It was a simple claim - 95 days at $2.00 per day.

user-friendly and helpful

Works for me
I have been using turbo tax for as long has I can remember and have always been pleased with the program. I do however feel that one should be able to print individual forms other then the whole thing especially when you're doing it for a friend or family member. Printing of the whole information is often not required. Please advise if I'm missing something which is already available under the turbo tax system. Thank you

Standard CD Version Better than Online Version
The standard CD Version of TurboTax is the best way to your taxes. Avoid the online version, which holds your tax forms hostage until you pay Intuit, even if you haven't completed your return, but need supplemental information from them to complete related returns. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL INTUIT!

6 years and going strong
I've been using TurboTax for the past 6 years and find it easy and inclusive. The reminders are nice to have as well as the optimizer functions. They have helped my family increase the tax refund/ decrease tax payable! And isn't that what we all want? :)

Turbotax 2020
Software is fine, but pretty expensive for basic returns and has some annoying features (examples: always suggesting an upgrade to a more expensive version, way too many prompts and warnings, trying to sell "expert" advice, etc.). I'm thinking of using a different software package next year.

Good but
I have used TurboTax for several years and always found it to be relatively easy and accurate. But this year's version had some troubles when upgrades had been installed. In the final case, I was directed right back to the beginning and had to enter all of my information again after I had already done the most of it before.

Limitation re Foreign income sources
I find Turbotax simple, for the most part easy to use and fairly comprehensive. My problem each year is it's inability to accommodate more foreign countries (beyond the USA plus two others) for reporting foreign income and tax payments. I personally have 4 foreign countries where I have pension and investment income but cannot report them separately. Due to the aforementioned limit, I have to combine countries to make it fit into the Turbotax framework, which is not strictly correct since foreign tax credits need to be calculated on a country by country basis. I have raised this issue with Turbotax for many consecutive years and they never make the necessary changes. I am sure in today's world there are many people in the same situation as me. Because of this, I am not 100% sure that my return calculations are correct and I may have to consider other tax software, but I would prefer not to.

Very nice to have the easy file
Needs to be easier to download the new year version when you have used the package in the past. Always have a difficult time to get it downloaded. This year was the worst. On a positive note I love the package and will continue to use it.

Challenging but possible
This year the interest splitting was awesome as before I had problems to split the interest income but this year, it was a breeze.
I did have some trouble because our child, over 18 had medical expenses not covered fully by our plan so it was a challenge to fill that part out. I called in for assistance and had a knowledgeable, professional and friendly person help me out.

Have Been using for Years
I have been using Turbo Tax Standard for many years. I use the forms method so I cannot comment on the step by step. I find the program easy to use and like that it carries forward info for the next year. I also Netfile using Turbo Tax. One complaint: the little boxes that need to be checked ie: preferred language or Do you own foreign property? either do not fill or take a long time to fill. This should happen as soon as I click on the box. Would have given it 5 out of 5 otherwise. I do my and my wife's returns and it saves us money over getting someone else to do them.
