Very good software
The only problem I had was the tax split with my spouse. The fist time using it had me with a refund and my wife owing. I had to juggle a few things to get the splitter to get us each a small refund.

More cumbersome than previous years
I found this years version to be more cumbersome than previously. Example, in order to claim the refund for my electronic newspaper subscription, I had to go out of forms mode and could only enter it using the Easy Step Interview mode which, quite frankly, was a pain in the rear.

Does the trick!
I've used Turbotax for over 20 years and generally no complaints. Had a little trouble this year with it freezing but worked out the glitch. In places the options could be presented more clearly but overall - very good

Very easy to use!
This is easy to use, especially when loaded properly. I have used it for many years and have had no problems . I even used it for my husband's business for a couple of years.

Turbo tax makes it easy
I have tried other tax solutions and keep coming back to Turbotax. It's intuitive and simplifies tax return preparation. Will continue to use Turbotax and highly recommend it.

Won't print
Good program, but it won't find my printer. I have to Save As .pdf then print the .pdf. Also it would be nice to be able to print the Tax Summary at the end.

review turbo tax 2020
I had several problems linking CRA information for my wife and then for myself. There must be a glitch.
The program was trying to collect the information from the same CRA site without finishing my wife first, then closing, the asking to go to the next one.

The step by step approach is quite simple. Maximizing donations should be simplified by, after finding the right amount per the optimizer, a simple OK click to adjust the return would be better. The optimizer is too sensitive.

2020 taxes done
Turbotax ease to use as usuall, only down is that this Y2020 T4 slips contained 'Other Information' in boxes 57, 58, 59 & 60... which should not be included in the tax return (back of the slip instruction) but turbotax didn't flag anything about it. For that reason I give it a 4 stars instead of 5, I would expect the software to provide some advise about it.

Good value for the money
The main issue I noticed was the returns, when combined with your spouse is shown as a "family" refund. It is not broken down to what each person's refund will be until pretty much the net filing step.

Very Difficult Activation
I had an extremely hard time activating my software this year. I kept getting a blank white TurboTax window. Online help was next to useless. When I did get to the point of trying online activation the link wouldn't open in my default browser (Edge) so I had to copy the URL to another browser.

I have been using TurboTax for years now to do the taxes for my entire family. For a straightforward tax return I strongly recommend using TurboTax. I don't have complex tax needs, so this is a nice tool to have.

Shortcomings
I've used Turbotax for years but this year was annoyed that there was no easy way for me to show the e-paper subscription tax credit and my installment payments. I had to use the Turbotax help desk, all of which took time to figure out and do.
