Glitch
Bought on-line from Costco. Installation was not smooth. Required Admin access to open from desktop. Was able to use it anyway

Using TURBO-2020-Stnd
The standard package comes with a few nice tools that simplify much of the work. Integrated NetFile is one of them.

Great product
I have been using Turbo Tax for years and it is consistently easy to use, accurate and helpful. I have never had a problem with CRA having Netfiled with Turbo Tax. It always helps me organize all my information and I especially love the optimizers for donations, pension splitting and medical expenses. This year we also used the RRSP calculator to great advantage. Very pleased with the product.

Great Value
As always the Standard version of the product does a great job for medium complexity returns. This year I decided to split pension income with my wife. I found the required form T1032 quite confusing to fill out and Turbo Tax needs to do a better job of guiding the user through completion of that form.

Gets the Job Done
I've used Turbo Tax every year since 2010. In the 2020 year I had some concerns with it.
Even though I tell the software I want to do something (split a pension, etc.) it asks me again; twice again I think it was. It does a similar thing with warnings: I've told it what incomes and deductions I have and it wants to warn me about them again and again. Fearing you've made a mistake you go check them. Waste of time and makes you anxious.
As well, I had a question, but Turbo Tax ONLY provides instructional videos. There is no one to phone to ask a simple question unless you pay extra money and buy into their online support. If you sell software, you need to be available to answer questions; if you want people to buy it.
Don't keep asking about whether someone wants to do something. When they say they want to split a pension, etc. that's what they want to do. Don't ask three times.

Filed my tax in an hour
That is how easy this is. I have used this software for the last 5 years and every time, it's a breeze. This is also partly because my personal situation is not complicated. The menus and explanation are user friendly. Recommend it to anyone who is considering filing taxes on your own.

Good tax preparer
Occasionally shuts itself off which can be a problem, recover the file before you enter anything else, otherwise, you may enter something twice I did that last year with C.P.P. and had a real problem correcting it.

Taxes made easy
I have been using Turbo Tax and its previous version for many years and I find it to be easy to use and makes my taxes a breeze to complete. I like the fact that it provides hints and warnings as well as the optimize feature for pension splitting. These features have probably increased my refunds considerably. I will continue to use Turbo Tax for the forseeable future.

Comes with design flaw
I used the online version in 2019 as it was the only one being sold in Kanata, ON - this year I am using Standard with a disc and it requires literally hours of effort to insert the home address and email - other than that I hope to continue using a disc edition in the future.

Quebec Return a bit complicated
I just completed my 2020 Federal and Quebec returns. There was a discrepancy between income amounts for feds and province that took a bit of time to figure out. Not the clearest advice on how to reconcile. Otherwise, this product is much easier to use than a Guide from the revenue authorities and filling in a paper return!

Sometimes when making entries I am not sure if I am doing my or my wife's return or my return.. It used to have the name at the top of the page at all times.
When I got notices that I was (for example) using more credits than necessary it gave me no instruction as to how much to change which amounts ... and it would be nice to have a response with corrected amounts that I could just say yes .. go ahead or no .. I intended that.
I miss the subscription! Turbotax has been good to me for several years!

too many repeat entries
When preparing your taxes there are too many times you have enter things like you email address. When you enter it initially it would be nice if it automatically appear in subsequent boxes where needed.

Awkward Product
I have used this product for more than 10 years. Recently each years version has problems loading from CD and this year there were problems entering data into work sheets with multiple line numbers going into single entry opportunities. Recently as well finding access to real help support was not at all intuitive. However, once the user struggled through and gained access to human support their service and support was very good.

netfile problem
I usually prepare my taxes BEFORE netfille opens, and save it. Then just submit the tts file as soon as netfile is available. For 2020 the program would not allow me to access net file (just got a circle with the slant) with no explanation. but, when netfile was available, it let me create the tts file, and submit it. Would have liked to be notified that I would be able to create the tts file as soon as netfile was available. Other than that, I LOVE the program. Thanks
