Too slow to load
TTax is extremely slow while loading. The Steps / Forms methods are convenient & very easy. I wish, if I double-click on a value, TTax will take me back to the form where I have made the related entry of data. When it shows "Others $ 2,000" I don't have any way to know relevant details.

Tax Software
It works, though they still need to revisit the display. Why are we still scrolling down on pages to display a single line on one page and 12 lines on the next? Too many engineers are involved and not enough artists.

User Friendly
The medical portion should be reviewed as it keeps forcing to the lower income even when that person has no income other than pension and in my case would cost the tax payer over $3000.00 if they did not look at the refund in the corner

Small Business Lacking
All went smoothly through my return into it came to small-business expenses. The explanations attached to each line were lacking a lot of info so I had to go back to the CRA website and raw forms to figure out what went in each box. Other than that, it did its job. 4 stars.

Continual Improvement
I like the way steps are always verified by asking again and again. I sometimes think that we learn from experience the meaning of instructions, so that a new person might get confused. Maybe clarify regularly. Doing donations (regular charitable), I had a heck of a time getting page 2 to come up. Finally I closed the program in frustration and tried again the next day, then it worked. A glitch somewhere?

Meets Requirements
Great for simple returns. Printing of report, however, fails to allow a selection of what is to be printed. I ended up with some 31 pages when 10 would have sufficed. It does not provide a summary comparative printout for couples filings.

Quality of Custormer representative
Called for assistance 2 times. The first time was regarding from T5008 and the representative was able to find out the reason for the software not updating the transactions. The second call was regarding prior year capital loss offset against current capital gain. The representative was not able to help, and I had to spent a fair amount of time to work out the solutions. Both were courteous.

getting there
seems better each year, however still some trouble getting t4A info from gov't site to autofill.
Also there is reference to medical and charity optimizer ( to see which spouse should claim) but I could not find any optimizer. I switched back and forth myself and wrote down the figures on a scrap of paper to see which result was the best for us.

Always good but too much upselling
have always enjoyed your product, the standard used to be perfect and nothing has changed our own end but now the upsell features in the process are a bit intrusive. continue on the good path with user experience and process flow, the product will sell itself.

Good but can't get out.
I always use Turbo Tax because it is easy and accurate. My only complaint is that after completing a return I cannot go back and start another because I get in an endless series of screens and have to shut Turbo Tax down and restart to do my next return.

Year after year after year you advise joint filers (like spouses) to claim medical expenses on lower earner return. This is never true abut our returns and I think it is probably never true. I gave this information to your customer service people whenever I use their services, no change; or am I confused?
