INCOME
Just a little problem arose with CRA... My CPP Income (additional income) shows on line 130 with Turbo Tax. CRA added this to line 114 which increase my declared income and showed I owed more than I did. Contacted CRA who corrected my tax return amount. Other than that no issues.

more print options
Easy to use & put info in. Turbo tax does all the rest, including tax credits you are eligible for & also whether you should carry forward Charitable donations & Medical receipts. Just wish there was the option to print up the Detailed tax summary & other optimizer information given for comparison.

almost easy
Great program, easy to use. My only complaint is that there is no obvious solution when there are boxes on T Slips and no corresponding field for that box in the Easy Interview process.

Meh
I filed my taxes, but it wasn't as easy as led to believe. Maybe once you use the program for a few years, this was my first time, it gets easier. I found it difficult to go back and review previous information or to make changes. And when all done, I'm still not 100% confident that I got all that I was entitled too.

Quality slipped
There is only one year that I purchased software other than TurboTax because I found it concise and clear. This year, however, I felt that statements were poorly written and some error in "Dependents" kept telling me I had inserted an override (I hadn't). I hope that 2018 will be written better.

good but FRUSTRATING
had to go to Google to find the kilometre rate for medical transportation deduction :) Wasted a good 30 minutes in the help section(: Also is terrible with carryforward donations when combined with pension sharing (: very good overall:)
And I've been using Turbo tax for years

great except
Great program, but noticed that the Ontario Trillium Benefit form (ON BEN) does not auto populate unless you specifically open it and x the application box (forms method). This was previously done automatically and included in the Netfile submission excepting the last 2 years. I just realized this as there were no warnings during the review and am now refiling for 2 relatives for the last 2 years. This has caused unnecessary work on my part, particularly in that the 2016 returns have to be printed out and refiled by mail.

Address field problems
The address fields on this years turbotax do not work properly. I have used Quick or Turbo tax for more than twenty years and have not encountered this yet. The software does not let one fill in these fields properly. The only way it is OK is if you enter on the review process

ADDRESS CHANGE
I could not find a way to change my address. I moved "after" I had initiated FaxTurbo and had not completed my taxes until much later. Not knowing, I initially went on line and supplied my new address to both CRA and QC, later, I was informed that I could not upload via Netfile because the information did not match, which made sense; on my Turbo was the old address and the governments now had the newer address.
In summary, if I did not miss how to, there should be a way to update your newer address before attempting to Netfile if necessary.

2017 TURBO TAX
Very easy to use. Some minor software upgrades are necessary. For example if checked an incorrect box and continue..you sometimes get to a point and realise that I checked the wrong claim. To undo the claim u have to go all the way back to the original form to uncheck. Software should be smarter to give u the option to uncheck the claim and not have to go back to the forms...minor annoyance but works.

It is a product to purchase again
I have been using Turbo tax for several years now and I do like to use it as I purchase at a retail store and I pay once and I can do the returns for my children also for the same price. However, this year, I printed a copy for our record, send it electronically. I also wanted to print another copy to send to CRA as last year they wanted proof of certain things for my daughter and it is still not resolved, therefore I wanted to send them also a copy and I don't seem to be able to print a copy to send to CRA after I have send it electronically. I also always have a hard time to start the returns, to register, not clear what to do as I have a key code and all that is showed at first is the price.

Reliable and efficient
Good, but be sure to have a list of all the forms and documents you are going to need before you start. You now have to identify the ones you are using before you get into the actual filing.

Good product - improve help
Help could have more detail. For some items, the help function is too general. For example, Professional Fees asked if HST was included. The help function didn't explain whether you input the dues with or without HST.
