Better than advertised
After doing the initial evaluation with Turbotax to determine if I needed an upgrade, it was recommended that I graduate to the next level software. I stayed with this standard software and it was sufficient to complete a few fairly complex returns, all by myself.. a non professional.

taxes simplified
I used to be a tax preparer and I've been using TurboTax since it began (formerly HomeTax). I usually prepare with the forms method because I'm used to it but the EasyStep makes it so much better for the less experienced. Great product and value for $$ spent.

TWENTY YEARS
USING IT FOR 20 YEARS always bullet proof returns except for one year 2009. have been able to import expenses from csv and quickbooks with no problem. this year importing t4 t5 etc was easy but the catch was to open the cra website first .this is not mentioned anywhere and delayed me by three months untill CRA rep told me.

Pro: Easy to use and understand. Convenience with the NETFILE option.
Con: No longer will work unless you update to WINDOWS 10. I don't like the strong arm tactic so will no longer support Turbo Tax.

helpful tips are sometimes inadequate in explanation -- especially with more doc's and schedules, the nomenclature is quite confusing. There is a typo on that last page before submission. (I forget what it was about , but "If I you are" is the beginning of a sentence.
